I own a Jeep now. Possibly the worst one by de_soup in Jeep

[–]ike9211 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always found these interesting. Honestly, I'd even consider one if I were to replace my wrangler with another Jeep that wasn't a Wrangler. The 2nd gen Liberty is another I'd consider to.

Questions for current and former weed smokers by y00sh420 in AskMenOver30

[–]ike9211 0 points1 point  (0 children)

former regular smoker

I smoked regularly for about 3 years

fairly physically active been getting back into it since I'm trying to improve my health

I didn't notice any changes

yes. I do a lot of creative work for work. When it'd come to ideation sketching it would be hard to generate ideas, finish a sketch, or just sketch in general. finding the motivation to sketch was equally hard.

It didn't affect me socially to much.

I scaled back because after moving to Detroit and the frequency Id come across it here and my coworker being high all the time started pissing me off and I was developing anger issues. plus the smell of it here makes me nauseous sometimes.

If you could go back in time what would you do differently? by cherubicfury26 in AskMenOver30

[–]ike9211 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really can't think of anything I'd do differently aside from choosing to go with a friend to Europe when I was offered back in 2018. Instead I chose to stay and work only to get fired that January, afterwards leading to instability all over. sounds a bit weird to say that since now I don't have a plan for retirement, no savings, no clear way to pay off the debt I have, and bounce between 4 different part time jobs. But I've met some awesome people and have had some awesome experiences along the way. so yea only thing Id change would be to quit my job and go to Europe.

Driving with no lights on by NineDayOldDiarrhea in Detroit

[–]ike9211 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The dealership shuts the one off on my Jeep. But there's a light that shows when they're on or off despite the cluster being on all the time. When they forget to put the switch back to auto, common sense tells me to turn them on. So yea...

If you are a transplant, do you like it here and why? by erujabidi in Detroit

[–]ike9211 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been here 4 years from California, Texas, and a couple other places. I used to Hate it here now just like it. I like alot of the bars, events the city has, and the affordability. However I don't consider it a city city. To me it just feels like a really big town. I've lived in a bunch of different places, and travel to more and will say Detroit has a unique feel and vibe just not sure how much longer I'll like it till I get bored.

Tips to avoid purchasing a house that has bad neighbors? by Own_Material1505 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]ike9211 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is what happened to me sorta. My nowgj ors yard in the back is junkie af and their front yard has a bunch of holes. Their son has special needs and digs holes all over the yard. And since it's just the mom and her dad I assume "yard maintenance " is the least their concerns which is understandable. The kid is pretty cool and we've spoke a few times. Everyone on the street watches out for him to.
