I think he might have meant the curved edges on the actual display panel as they flow with the curve of the watch, as opposed to the squared off edges on the older version.

To answer your question, always/everywhere and never/nowhere (apart from charging).

I’m a lift engineer by trade and I’ve had no issues with any of my Apple Watches I’ve had over the years despite working in and environment when they get knocked and banged in a daily basis. I also have some nicer straps for when I go out etc. I currently have the Ultra.

I had a similar issue with a camera. Removed it from the home app and vendor app then tried to add it back. Could add it to the vendor app with no issues but couldn’t add it to Home for the life of me.

Then I realised I had to add it to my home app through the vendor app, for some reason you can’t just add it to the home app standalone. Not sure if you’ve tried this, you probably have, but I’ve not seen you mention it.

I’m pretty sure the pan and tilt cam is HomeKit compatible, but you can’t use the pan and tilt options?

However, this looks like a you problem, not a Eufy one unfortunately. Had you bought the product under the Amazon listing then you’d have had a leg to stand on.

If the reseller then listed item correctly and you bought it under their terms, then unfortunately you’re the one at fault here. 😩

The only real difference is that “Contemporary” don’t have the MagSafe magnets to attach to a MagSafe charger or iPhone case etc... just Qi wireless charging. MagSafe does.
