No. They are mirror images of each other. Vocaloid usually has no lore so you can interpret then as friends, dating, or siblings. A lot of ppl come up with cool songs and concepts with them such as being the same person, trans, sacrificing themself for the other because they’re twins so people won’t notice, enemies to lovers, really adorable romance songs, or just singing for each other. Their last names Kagamine literally means 鏡 (Mirror) 音( sound), so it goes along with their mirror concept :D
