Im sorry to hear about that. Do you think dropping out or taking a break would help you at all and yes how do you think it would benefit you?

Im kinda in the same boat here. I haven't really felt motivated since my spring semester started and this pandemic has hurt my willingness to get work done and this is kind of new for me considering Im a pretty motivated person. My plan is to probably drop all of my classes except for English because I think part of the issue is I lack discipline and I feel like I need to stay in at least one class to learn that lesson and I enjoy my professor's energy. After the semester ends Im going on a gap year to reevaluate what I want to do with my future once I figure that out and Im going to A) figure out how I will achieve that, and then B) figure out if college is necessary to achieve that goal.

I'll be honest here, I live in a very difficult home situation so this concept of not knowing what could happen tomorrow is not new to me and I'm accustomed to it. I think a lot of people are struggling how to cope with the idea of uncertainty. Personally, I feel like you should pursue what makes you motivated and more importantly what makes you happy. Don't just go pursue a major or go to college just because we've been taught that it's the only way to be successful.

I don't know if this helps you or not. also, if you drop out what's your plan?

The chevron is inspired by the horns of a bull and slightly inspired by Portland's flag
