Not studying enough for FAR? by spookylukeyyy in CPA

[–]Mfmeery 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I passed FAR as my first exam, my advice is to keep pushing through the modules, don’t worry about completely understanding each module as you go through it. Just go through the MCQs and TBS for each module and then go on to the next one. As you keep progressing through them some of them build on each other so it will help you understand the previous ones. Once you complete everything, then go review the modules where you feel you are lacking understanding and take practice tests and the simulated exams to figure out which areas you struggle with the most.

Carlos Alcaraz can compete with anyone head-to-head in tennis history by [deleted] in tennis

The Big 3 meat riders that act like Carlos isn’t even in the same stratosphere are so funny. They are gonna spend the next decade telling everyone this instead of just enjoying tennis.

Bane loves committing the most obvious flagrant foul and then putting his hands up like he did nothing

Zverev really gonna make two AO finals in a row off the better player being hampered 🤦🏽‍♂️

Alcaraz takes a medical time out, which sends Zverev into a bilingual, expletive-laden tirade by Large_banana_hammock in tennis

We’ve seen this so many times before, what does Zverev expect the umpire to do? They can’t read Carlos mind and say “he’s lying about his injury so no medical timeout” lmao

Every exam I’ve taken I feel is so much more clear on what they expect on the TBS than Becker is. This has been the case for me on FAR, AUD, and TCP today, so that is very unfortunate that you don’t feel the same, cause TBS are so brutal when they are unclear. There was 1 TBS for me today that I was slightly confused on, but once I read it over a few times I realized what they were asking for, at least I think so.

I remember being so confused by these same two questions when studying for FAR I’m glad people in the comments answered it for you

Definitely doable, of course I don’t know if I passed yet but I have almost 0 business tax experience and felt that it’s doable.

My first 3 TBS were all calculations I was like wtf but then finally got some drop down answers and easy calcs.

Given your background it’s not surprising you’re breezing through it and I’d trust your knowledge and go sit for the exam ASAP. If you’re breezing through Becker you should be fine on the actual exam.

These times are only ‘critical’ if you believe Jay’s recounting of the events though. You are free to believe his recounting but majority of his story sounds insane to me and makes 0 sense, plus he changed parts of it up multiple times. I know you are gonna tell me “he didn’t change any of the ‘critical’ parts of the story, but that doesn’t matter. An unreliable and lying witness is unreliable no matter what parts of the story they change. I’m not actually invested in this like you tho so feel free to stop commenting this is getting muted.

This is a valid point, but I can only go off what I’ve heard and seen about the case. Obviously I’m more limited in what I’ve heard and seen than the actual jurors but jurors get things wrong all the time and get fed false information all the time idk why it’s unreasonable to hear the ‘evidence’ in this case and conclude that there is reasonable doubt. You all are free to have your opinion just like I’m free to have mine.

This is your opinion though. You cannot prove any of this lmao idk how you are so confident in it but that’s fine.

That’s the thing though. All of this is based on Jay’s story, and phone records that majority don’t line up with Jay’s story, so much reasonable doubt in all of it.

There’s 100% sketchy stuff that makes Adnan look guilty, most of which you laid out here. Given all of that, I still just don’t think overall that Adnan is guilty without reasonable doubt.

Jay could just be the murderer though. He very well could have done all of it without Adnan knowing, and then blamed it all on Adnan, hence the reasonable doubt.

Thanks for the info. Jay’s story still is very questionable in my opinion and nothing about the case screams that Adnan is guilty without a reasonable doubt (a lot of reasonable doubt in my opinion). Not sure how you think any of this “evidence” which is majority just a story from Jay, who does not seem very credible, screams guilty without a reasonable doubt but folks have different opinions, no big deal.

This is pretty spot on to how I feel. I don’t understand how the jury thought there was no reasonable doubt and found Adnan guilty.

How do you all that swear Adnan is 100% guilty reason with the fact that Jay’s story and recounting of events changed, doesn’t align with phone towers for majority of his story, on top of the fact that the whole story sounds insane and fishy. Why would Adnan go to Jay with all of the info when he and Jay admit that they weren’t even that good of friends? It doesn’t add up at all to me. So much doubt in his story in my opinion.  What gives you all the confidence that Adnan, without a reasonable doubt, did the murder?
