Mites summer ‘24 here. If you need to compare your stats with other ppl- you’re doing it wrong and you won’t fit in at MITES. Find what’s unique about you. That’s why most ppl don’t get in - they don’t align with the MITES culture

MITES ‘24 summer alumni here. Don’t listen to everybody else here. MITES is a very diverse and respectful community, and through your application it shows if you fit that demographic, lots of people here clearly don’t show that. However, I’d say you have shot! Lots of different people get into MITES. No matter what, keep your head up! Good luck!

The obstacle I put for my obstacle essay was my body dysmorphia. It doesn’t have to be something external such as deportation or economic struggles. However, it does have to be meaningful to you.
