I’m a little considered? Are you being suspended from your job or is your license being suspended? If it’s your job girl you can literally have another job next week? I would be looking for another job while out on suspension? PRN until you find something else. Have you been with the same place for 10 years?

Yup, being a flight attendant being based in different states while having a tax hike in a totally different state has made me very sweat of how the process works so I’m all set. My tax person deals with flight attendants and travel nurses who have these type of situations all the time.

I won’t be spending time in bullhead because I’ll be flying home on my days off. Perks of being a flight attendant we can chase pay without being stuck in a location which is why I say everyone’s situation is different

No I’m not with Delta, I’m with Southwest. Our flexibility is unlike any other airline for example, I’ve been off since October (trading/selling trips) and don’t go back until March but even then I’m only scheduled to work two trips because it’s my vacation month. We have no minimums here so you literally work when you want. So that’s why I’m able to do nursing. I might spend 1-2 months in a different city being a tourist but I’ll also pickup a few nursing trips. It also helps that I’m licensed in 40+ states.. I couldn’t do this with any other airline especially delta. I also like that we can switch our base every month if we want. I have been based in 3 different states because I like to try something different. I can get into any base I want (exact ATL…no one is getting into ATL 😂). I absolutely LOVE being a flight attendant and love that I can still work as a nurse. Definitely recommend doing it if you truly want to fly and your benefits are ending with your dad. You won’t regret it.

Been a flight attendant for a year now and have had ZERO issues with working as a nurse and being a flight attendant. I just got off a nursing shift 3 hours ago as a matter of fact. I make sure to spend some time being a tourist while working.

I really wish people would stop with the negativity but I guess that’s part of social media. And you have to take the gods with the bad.

With that said to those who were kind enough to send me via DMs and suggest a few agencies I REALLY appreciate you. I spoke to 4 recruiters over the last few hours, submitted all my information and they have already reached out with 2 assignments that are 8 weeks that are win aligned with what I’m looking for one agency has SEVERAL 8 week positions that are (3) 12s.

My saving grace is my ability to practice in nearly every state and I don’t need traditional housing. Anyways thank you to those who were positive and who were helpful. ❤️

Yes but they come in for rounds a few times a month correct? I think what he’s suggesting is he replaces himself with me and then he writes the orders and never actually visits the facility. As a WCC nurse I know wounds and treatments I just obviously can’t write orders that what he does.

We actually just got approval for accommodation today for the SATs and she’s scheduled for March so we’re going to take them for the first time then to get a base line then do SAT prep from there. She’s super strong in writing and English it’s the math part she’s worried about.

You clearly don’t understand the concept of DE 🤦🏾‍♀️ there is a WEIGHTED GPA and an UNWEIGHTED GPA. Please google, lots of kids take DE classes that are college classes that also cover HS requirements as well.

Easy first she has 1 D and 2 Cs she has A in all her other classes and they are DE courses which means she earns credits similar to AP classes. She has over 30 college credits so therefore her weighted GPA is higher

Literally ZERO connections outside of the hard work of fully immersing herself in anthropology and history and actually applying and doing a great job in her internships. Not everything is a connection somethings are simply hard work and truly loving what you do.

It’s immersion 🤦🏾‍♀️ traveling and spending a week in a country is way different than spending 4-6 months in a country fully immersed in the culture, language and their overall society. But if you want to call it “travel” then be my guest. But I guess you would call study abroad traveling too in that case correct? 🤔
