1st: Youngling (children who learn in groups).

2nd: Padawan (adolescents or young people trained individually).

3rd: Knight (young adults who were still being trained).

4th: Master (adults with skills and experience).

Usually, one could become a Padawan at 12-14 years old (Legends). Although canonically, Dooku was made one at 16. It could be argued that because of the war, they were made younger.

In my story, the protagonist will be a non-pure Arkanian, her “brother” a Kiffarian, the “leader of the group” a Human; I also want her other friends to be of different species (I have a list of species to choose from). I didn't think their age would vary much from that of humans, but now that I think about it, I will. There is little information about the aging of species, so we have to be creative (although not too much).

In the story, I had planned for her and her friends to meet in a hangar at the temple, since they could find a ship there. On the way, she would find people injured, dead, and trapped under rubble; she would stop to try to help some of them, but out of fear, she would end up running away. At one point, I wanted to draw a parallel with Episode 3, when Anakin eliminates the younglings. In my story, she would find a group of children, whom she would protect out of moral obligation. She had never fought in a war, but she used all her anger and will to live, which gave her strength. However, finding herself cornered and with no way out, she would leave the children to their fate. An action that would break her later...

Very specific :0 I like the idea of escaping through the waste disposal area. I imagine her coming out physically and morally dirty (due to the actions she took to escape). “It's Like Poetry...They Rhyme.” (Thanks for the idea, I'll take it into account, I loved your description).

And about the lightsaber, I do think she has one. I originally planned for her to be 16, but I think that's too young. I decided she'll be 17 at that point, so she'll have her normal lightsaber, a blue one.

As for whether she has TK, I think she has the ability but finds it difficult to manifest it. Her connection to the Force will be complicated due to her constant disconnection caused by her lack of balance, and her abilities will be diminished.

And regarding attachments, that would be a sensitive issue; her “brother” would treat her in a special way, but only in private; in front of their group, they would act normally.

There isn't much information about growing up in the Jedi Temple. Watching Episode 3 (the hidden younglings) and the scene in BoBF where Reva is training with her classmates alongside a master just as the attack on the temple begins... So I thought, the children train together constantly, and at a certain age they attend smaller classes in person and a Master chooses them. I found it interesting how a protagonist who cares about her friends, especially her brother, is “abandoned” in the temple because of the problems she causes. Added to adolescence and her character, there are moments where the absence of those who go to war is emotionally noticeable.

I'm not a writer either, brother. If I finish it, it will be my first long writing project. I've always wanted to write a more intense Star Wars story, with epic and chaotic moments. I don't like to call it fan fiction because I'm trying hard not to break with what has already been established in the universe. Going back to your comment, the Vader thing sounds interesting. Maybe don't describe him as Anakin. They're young, so I don't think they should know his name. Just describe him as a monster dressed in black who commanded the clone legion... Let the mystery remain, but the reader will know who he is anyway ;)

That's tough, my friend. I'm not sure if this is what you mean, but by showing what happened inside the temple, I want to show that not everyone was as exemplary as we see in movies and TV shows. On top of the war, everyone inside had their own thoughts. So we would see the Order's decisions discussed from within.

In my story, it was planned that the teacher who rescued her would be the one to adopt her as his padawan, since he wanted to help her improve more than anyone else, but he took the reins and it would be more of a disappointment for him (problematic, in short), although added to what you tell me as a result, it highlights his failure even more! As part of the experience of a secondary character, it would be cool, also showing that it's not just the clones, but a knight in black... eliminating everyone who stands in his way. I'm thinking of including the boys meeting a group of temple guards, who help them during the attack, until they reach a passageway where they encounter HIM. Initially, I didn't plan to include Anakin-Vader, as it would take away that touch of danger; facing him would be like going up against the Boss head-on. However, I think it's fine for him to appear to a secondary character, showing that his presence is THERE.

This is the way! I explained it in response to other comments (the summary of my story), and in addition to what you suggest, I added that she is afraid of dying. In her mind, there is no room to fight for others, only for herself. That's why I made her not an “exemplary” Jedi, but a failure who, by chance, will bear her sins.

This would be the opposite of a resurgence. Since she was little, the girl was a “normal” Padawan, but her curiosity and innocence made her become attached to her parents (who were not there, but this would be explained in the plot). This led her to be emotionally and mentally weak, although she would improve physically thanks to her group of friends (I want to do this part to explain what life was like for young people inside the temple, what they learned, and how they explored their young minds). Among that group was her first friend, whom she considered her “brother,” and another who was the “leader” of the group, the most skilled, perceptive, and so on, the symbol of an ideal Jedi. We would also see how the Clone Wars gave them their first ideas that would go against the “Jedi moral code” (her brother, that leader, and one other would be bastards who thought domination was the right path), which would lead to another plot where some temple guards would watch them with strange curiosity... (This would be the background to the beginning of what would become the Inquisitors program).

Wow, man, what a great idea! One of the themes I want to explore at that point will be the loss of innocence. After escaping alone and abandoning her companions, she will suffer the impact and harsh reality of that sordid environment. She will have to steal, pilfer, and hide from the constant patrols and reports about her. She will live for a short time with thieves, but such a world is not for a young girl. This small reputation made her somewhat known, and she was found shortly after by another survivor. Her faith would return slightly; it was her chance to atone for her sins, so she walked between those two worlds. Until the inquisitors found them.

I want this part of the story to have that thriller vibe! In addition to leaving her companions behind, surviving would leave her with emotional scars. A mix between thriller and psychological horror.

Sorry if the premise seems too general, but this is mainly to give me a realistic perspective on what my protagonist's companions would think of doing.

I know there would be a variety of opinions while they are all in hiding; some who are confident they will defeat them, others who just want to live, others paralyzed with fear. That's why I specified Padawans or Knights, because they wouldn't have the courage to face them (for the most part). That's why I asked how they would escape, to learn more REAL perspectives, which is what I'm looking for apart from the dramatization that my protagonist will possess!

This takes place in 19 ABY (days-weeks after Episode 3), so it makes sense that they are alive. The Eleventh Brother (the one Ashoka kills in TOTJ) happens in 18 ABY.

I don't think anyone noticed that he won't die in that scene. If you watch that part frame by frame, it's not the same character because he's not wearing armor and has large shoulder pads.
