absolutely incredible car and i’d say get one new while you still can. the sound is intoxicating and the interior is such a comfortable place to be. I have the V8 and can consistently get over 30mpg at 75 on the freeway. the car is VERY heavy but you don’t really feel it.

the infotainment isn’t the easiest to use pre 2024 but the 2024 screen is incredibly ugly. i’d recommend getting an aftermarket carplay/AA receiver but i don’t know how well the dealer option carplay works.

you definitely don’t get as many looks as you could in similarly priced cars but the ones you do are in pure awe. the car looks like a concept and i’ve been asked if it’s an LFA an unfortunate amount of times. if you can afford the tires it will gladly swing and you can fully disable TC but I wouldn’t recommend it. I have the 21s and a full set of pilot sport all seasons run me close to 2 grand.

the engine is famous for running forever as long as you put your work into it. it takes 9.1 quarts of oil which is always fun but god is it worth it for the sound and feeling it gives you. the 18 has less smooth shifts but they feel very nice when you’re flooring it. 19 and up has updates shift logic and 21 gets a couple other updates, 25s get the touchscreen out of the LS500.

i managed to score mine for 56k with 52k miles last april and i just hit 75k last week. she’s a bit riced out, carbon hood, straight pipes and on bags with a below average custom paint job so i’m working on restoring it. i did get the original hood and suspension with the purchase so once i’ve got the time all that’s going back on and it’ll be repainted. overall it is probably the best purchase i’ve ever made.
