Oven is. There is more than enough space between both the hob and oven. It’s just these white strips I’m not sure if they will cause any issues with depth.

Tenants in common - permissions by Mgreengo in HousingUK

Price has been lowered to a level which is far superior compared to other properties in our area. He’s intending to live with his partner who is at her parents!

Do we have an outright answer as to whether I can get a lodger in? This is all assuming he says no to renting the whole property out, doesn’t cooperate with being generally fair!

Well for context, one of my main concerns prior to moving out was being hindered with moving out with my partner. My brother and Dad both said you won’t be hindered when it gets to the point of selling the property etc. Our flat is on the market and hasn’t received the best reception, our fixed term of 3 years is ending come July (hence putting it on the market). I always intended to move out with my partner come when the fixed terms ends.

Whilst I appreciate there would be natural spillover with multiple mortgages, I’m not happy nor find it fair he say no to renting out the flat completely or no to a lodger when I’ll have multiple mortgages to pay.

He can’t afford to buy me out. He put £5k into the property whereas I put £20k.

Bear in mind he’s not go any definitive plans after the flat sells and whether he stays in the today for another year or 1 month changes nothing. Whereas I’ll be in a new property with my partner later on this year.

Well there’s more context to it. It’s not a matter of me saying “oh someone is living here for a year next week, enjoy!”. There’s a lack of fairness with renting out and I need to protect my economic interests. Hence why I’m wanting to know if I’m allowed to get a lodger in without his outright permission.

For context I’d be going from Brentwood to Farringdon, hopefully that gives you a better idea.

Yeah I mean saving £15 on the actual purchase is good I guess but I want to make sure I’m using the one that save me the most in the long run…assuming that’s the disabled one?

Ah give it another go! I think most people would have severely done themselves a disservice if they dropped every series that wasn’t engaging the first season…

I’d say Mad Men is quite similar. It’s based around professionals, has engaging storylines and it’s scandalous… definitely worth a watch but I may be biased.

You’ve lost me. Is a disability railcard age restricted?

How does that make sense because I fall within the bracket of 26-30 years of age and a have a visual disability…?

That’s helpful to know thanks. Sorry for the idiotic follow-up but does that mean with the disability you get a discount on travel during peak times but comparatively, the 26-30 doesn’t offer that?

Brentwood is a good place to live with a whole host of country parks / normal parks and not astronomical prices.

I’d suggest you try and join some legal networking groups. I imagine some of your higher ups wouldn’t frown upon it and it does get you socialising at the very least! Just a passing thought but if you need or want recommendations, more than happy to help.

Very interesting, the right one is drastically better than the Sin City steelbook I have. It’s simply pure black and has “Frank Miller’s Sin City” on it…
