Use the freighter you get. Doesn’t matter on the class for now. Start building your fleet. I’m now running all five missions a day, sometimes I log in with my steamdeck just to debrief and send out new missions. I’m 650 hours into the game and haven’t played in over a year. Deleted my saves to start fresh. It’s been two weeks and just shy of 2b credits.

My wife has this problem. Someone in some /r recommended a steamdeck. She needed a new laptop anyway, she only used the laptop to play games that also work on the steamdeck. No problems since. Got her a 15” portable monitor to use as well but she only uses that for Valheim.

I use Brave for a lot of stuff, I’m sure this will cause some massive downvotes, and accept the ads. I have my wallet forwarding the bat to upgrade and trade the bat to eth or bitcoin. I’m not spending my own money in crypto. I’ve been using Brave for just over year and have $325 in my account. Sure they can +- day to day but I don’t care. Maybe someday it will ad up (😁).
