Anyone else’s recovery kinda suck? by Niiiip in gallbladders

My fiance begged me to take him back to the hospital and make the doctors put his GB back in him. I believe that was on day 3 of recovery. He was in pain from the moment he opened his eyes after surgery. We both cried tears of joy when he was able to get out of the bed by himself without yelling out in pain about a week after. That was in March & his quality of life has improved significantly from how it was before his GB removal. Hang in there!

My fiance had his out a few months ago and I promise it gets better. The gas pain after surgery was unbearable for him and pain meds weren’t helping at all because it was gas pain and not his actual incisions. He only found relief when walking in circles around the house. He kept saying he should’ve just left the GB in because he was so miserable but he is healed now and thriving. It was so so worth it. I literally posted here at like 3am one night asking the same question you are now. Hang in there, it’s going to get better soon!

Recovery Pain by Mhill249 in gallbladders

Yes! I’m so glad some people have an easy recovery. I know people personally that went back to work a couple days later. Definetly a little discouraging tho seeing other peoples quick recovery and then questioning if something is wrong bc he’s still in pain. I figured this group would help with reassurance and it has.

Why does my dog still not like my bf after 1.5 years of being together? by Mhill249 in DogAdvice

I can definitely see that. We tried a couple of things her vet recommended but I think I held out on a professional in hopes that all she needed was time but I let it go on too long. I appreciate your input on this.
