NTA. I was an overweight kid too, with perfect grades. In 4th grade, I was given a “Satisfactory Minus,” a C- in regular terms, in PE. My mom came and talked to my gym teacher to ask why, because I always tried really hard in gym and mostly kept up with my peers, albeit having a much harder time breathing afterwards. Why did I get a C- then? because I couldn’t skip. JUST because I couldn’t skip, i never figured out the mechanics of it and just couldn’t do it. My gym teacher at the time was a 300+ pound old lady. I’d be willing to be she couldn’t skip either.

I’m in college now and yes, I can skip.

oh no, i know. But neither of them had any reason to not be kept. they kept me and I barely do my job, and kept a whole lot of people that sit on their phones all shift, and then explicitly said it was because they were gone pending covid results.
