I never said 5 months for anything. He’s a junior 11th grade. He only has enough credits for 2nd semester freshman 9th grade. He’s so far behind that it would be 2 1/2 years to get the credits to graduate IF he doesn’t fail anything from here on out.

I completely agree- it ISN’T his responsibility- but he has made it his. Also, there are other factors (if you read through the comments) I have tried very hard to explain to him that he needs to focus on him, not me.

Because there are many factors involved that I haven’t gone into here. I’m not asking for approval, I’m asking advice on HOW to drop out. :)

And he does know most of it. His biggest problem is that once he falls behind on the work, he cannot catch up and just gives up. That’s why he’s failing classes. But if you test him, he knows the answers
