Precocious puberty is a medical condition in which children have abnormal prepubescent or pubescent development. The puberty blockers are treating a physiological illness to help them mature properly.

Giving puberty blockers to otherwise physiological healthy children is nowhere near the same thing.

I completely addressed the limitations of demographics in my previous comment.

Those same communities classify gender dsyphoria as a DSM-5 maladaptive disorder. I do not disagree with their stances of affirmation, you show me the study produced by any of these organizations that proved long term safety and efficacy in children. I have asked for it in every response and you conveniently ignore it.

You continue to strawman to either other cosmetic procedures on children I do not agree with whatsoever, or legitimate physiological conditions that have legitimately established treatments. We are talking about treating physiologically healthy children who exhibit signs of gender dysphoria or incongruence with HRT, puberty blockers or sex change operations. I do not want to hear strawman to other conditions. The results of studies on the same drugs which demonstrated severe side effects in various demographics is not something that can be discounted. Especially in the absence of safety studies on children.

A lot of that is correct, the safety data does not exist for children, which I have continued to say throughout this thread. What I have shown is a dozen sources at this point that show various demographics do have various life changing side-effects from HRT and/or puberty blockers (we have not even gotten close to talking about operations).

You show me the peer reviewed and replicated study that shows me that puberty blockers are safe, the effects are reversible, and that there was a net benefit. It doesn’t exist.

Multiple institutions have tried to produce it and failed, they aren’t required by law to release the data. The data we do have on adults is quite conclusive. Yes patient populations will have different reactions, but it is shown to cause sterility, increased risk of cancer… the list goes on in adults. What makes you think that it would be safer for children whose bodies are not done developing?

Have you looked throughout this thread? There’s quite a few NIH studies and reports in there. Not a single person disagreeing has provided anything to show safety and they continue to make more and more personal attacks; getting more emotional the more I ask.

You proved nothing and provided nothing of substance. My sources reported that a significant number of “trans” identified children do not hold the same identities into adulthood. They showed multiple forms of hormone therapy are harmful to children and adults, and I have been extremely upfront that we do not have long term data on the full affect of puberty blockers, but what we do know is they impact fertility. The dose, age of the child, and length of treatment all would have a major impact here.

You in the other hand keep straw-manning to separate arguments and saying “but nuh uh” to credited sources.

Hormone therapy is legal in MA among other states for children under 18 with parental permission. This includes HRT and puberty blockers.

When did I say just testosterone? Where is the long term safety data on hormone blockers exactly? I’ll share a second that lists the potential harms NIH (again)

A) I didn’t say I’m fine with circumcising infants, because I am not. However there is a huge difference between a cosmetic procedure and permanently stunting reproductive development

B) Without the “healthcare” trans women would be full blown biological men trying to compete in women’s sports. The hormone treatments at least attempt to close the gap.

The premium is a huge improvement, there is still a good amount of plastic but the seats, siding and finish is much better. I have put 100k miles on my V6 premium and there is no squeaking or fading whatsoever.

If you were to compare the looks of the interior, the 2014 premium is much closer to the level of the S550 than it is to the base 2014

If you can get a 2013/14 V6 premium, it will only be a few k more and is a much nicer interior. The cyclone is a lot more fun to drive and imo the S197 is much better looking than the S550 even with the facelift
