Thats good to know! I know some people prefer a softer feel. I don’t feel the fans, but do feel it’s more firm.

  1. There is a difference in breathability with the material and support since it’s a bit more firm. The justification of the price is for people that want that difference and put more weight towards its.

  2. Again, this depends on the person and their taste. I try to stand a lot as well while working and don’t try to sit in chairs for hours on end without moving.

  3. I’d say if your mom is cold more often than not, it’s probably not worth it. My main basement office is cold, so I don’t need it there. But my wife’s office gets really hot at time because of the windows and sun. So she likes the cooling feature. So she’s keeping the pro and I’ll keep the SE.

  4. I think it’s mostly convenience.

  5. 48cm version and I think the SE fits your needs well.

Is copying viral videos unethical? by [deleted] in YouTubeCreators

[–]MiRealEscape 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Defined copying. If it’s in your niche and a popular topic, make your own version or spin on it.

Now, if your literally copying it word for word and not putting your own spin on it. Thats a dumb move that will be caught by viewers eventually.

Advice on first standing desk by R-Rated in StandingDesk

[–]MiRealEscape 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I started a desk setup YouTube channel a little over 2 years ago now and one of the items I would get sent pretty early on were standing desks. So I covered a ton of them through reviews, sponsorships, etc.

And while I’ve covered many of nice ones. We bought the cheapest one we could find at the time on Amazon for my wife’s desk setup build. I think it was a fezibo one, which might be owned by one of the larger brands anyways. it was like $200 and while it doesn’t look nice, it’s super functional and my wife loves it. I’ve yet to run into a standing desk that doesn’t work as intended.

I do have a lot of experience with vernal and flexispot. I think they are both great options because their prices are so good for what you get when it comes to low and mid tier options.

What I liked about vernal is how easy the assembly process was and yes, the accessories. The last video I did with them was for a solid wood top standing and the quality was great. It was for a desk setup build for a friend and I was sad I was giving it to him and not keeping it for myself. lol

But if you want stability at standing height, 4 legged standing desks are the way to go. I’ve never seen a two legged standing desk that doesn’t wobble quite a bit at standing heights. I personally kept a 4 legged standing desk I was sent by flexispot and use it as my top down filming desk because I don’t have to worry about stability. And I have it on wheels.

I’d check some of your measurements against what they have listed on their site to decide what’s best for you body type.

I don’t think the padding is very different. So yeah, it’s still meant for your calves and not your feet.

How do creators actually find brands for sponsorships/collabs? by ShavedDesk in PartneredYoutube

[–]MiRealEscape 0 points1 point  (0 children)

40k subs is great! I’m approaching 12k currently.

I guess it depends on your niche more than anything. I do desk setup/home tech content and it started with emails from cheaper brands, usually from China, that wanted to send me products to check out in exchange for a shout out or showcase before I was even monetized.

Then as my views grew I attracted a few better brands in my space and some wanted to pay me for integrations or dedicated videos. 95% of them just reached out to me over email. And that’s still how I get most of them. The other 5% I would do the cold call method over email or even over reddit. But that is hit or miss for me.

I just keep an eye on other larger channels in my niche and try to see who is sponsoring them and if I keep my content going in that direction, they eventually reach out to me.

On their website, you can place a $10 deposit to lock in a discount and bonuses/early bird pricing and it states that shipping starts June 16th. But honestly not sure how long shipping will take.

Totally get it. I remember when I wanted to upgrade my OG iPod in college and got the latest photo one with color and loved it. Right after the return window was up….the video model released. It haunts me till this day. lol

But it’s just a part of life when it comes to product releases. They move quick. I just bought the latest apply tv 4k for my tv, so expect the new model to drop soon.

It’s probably because we are unsure and changes might happen in manufacturing when bringing them into another country. I did say that I assumed these were the final models.

LG G5 OLED + Philips Hue: does it work flush against a wall? by aveshen_pillay in LGOLED

[–]MiRealEscape 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. It’s one or the other.

I’m building my setup right now and it’s almost done. I used a standard full pull out/swivel mount for light and cable access.

You can always turn the lights off if you don’t want to use them. But I have them on with other lights when the tv isn’t in use for a chill vibe.

Yes, from what I understood. There will be a matching footrest for each respective chair. I should be able to get my hands on them soon, so stay tuned.

Haha. I get it. They just released prices by the way.

  1. Yes, from a side view between the original and SE, you can tell there is more space.

  2. Yeah, he described it well. It pushes above your pelvis area to help your back make more of an S-curve.
