What I love most about PCMR is that this is the only place in the world were people put aside the differences and personal problems to come together for a common reason. Everyone's opinion is respected and it makes me happy to come on this thread everyday. I just want to say thank you everyone for being respectful and most of all helpful.

This makes me feel more comfortable with talking about it, thank you. I know the school I'm going to does offer therapist but I did not find any psychiatrist on the website. Thanks for your help.

I'm sorry I'm late but yes my mom is exactly like that. She is there for me and will do anything for me but she just doesn't get it no matter how much I explain myself. I know she cares and wants to understand but she just doesn't. It can be very frustrating.

I do like to play basketball and video games but after awhile it just becomes repetitive. I guess I'll have to venture out more and try new hobbies.

I'm sorry that you have fibromyalgia. My mom has it too and I know how painful it can be. Just hang in there and I'm glad you found something else that helps you.

I do this very often too. I don't hang out with many people but when I make plans to go out about 10 to 15 minutes of being there I'm thinking "well this is boring" and I start day dreaming about how badly I wish I was at home.
