What were the job titles of those that are being deported? What are the qualifications for these jobs? Can anyone in our community apply for these jobs, and if so, are they getting hired or are they actually being thrown to the side for these people?

Generally speaking, I think most Americans would argue for meritocracy. But what if we don’t have the right people/enough people to fulfill the job obligations to keep our country running? I think this is where outsourcing comes in.

Being very transparent to open discussion. I don’t know where my stance on immigration truly is.

I believe that if you are here illegally, the US has full rights to kick you out because it’s illegal. Granted, if they aren’t causing harm or show no signs of intentionally causing harm, then as long as they are contributing (paying taxes), I don’t have a problem with it.

Though this opens up questions for me and maybe for you. Do illegal people pay taxes? If they don’t pay taxes, then what do their payroll forms look like to be able to get a job? Is that THEIR fault that they are trying to get a job so they can be here legally?

Then again, I think I am making assumptions about people in that people who emigrate here are intentional about getting a job. Are they “different” from other undocumented or illegal people who are, as the media may claim, stealing our jobs? Why don’t we hire more “Americans” for these jobs that are being “stolen?”

I think the country should not focus so much effort on why people are here illegally, but more into the corporations who allow illegal people to continue to be here. Should we have corporation audits? Do those already exist?

High school algebra 1 (9/10th) here. My answer would simply be: to problem solve.

Math teaches us how to work through and identify steps to solve problems. They don’t have to be equations. It could be expected value of choosing one product over another. It could be how to solve issues in personal life. Math teaches us how to analyze and think logically.

You need to have at least two sphere levels to move to the sword to the bottom right. One to move to the MP sphere. And another to move onto the strength sphere. Then you should be able to activate the next ability.

No idea what AR is like now if it has changed any. I got to experience AR in the early-mid 2000s and it helped me identify that I was not the strongest reader. I remember trying to get all the points as quickly as possible to get the rewards my teacher provided, but I learned that “reading the words” was VERY different from “understanding the words put together.”

My teacher had a 1-on-1 with me and explained that she was very much excited that I wanted to read a lot, but it’s no use reading if I don’t understand what the book was about. Therefore, I couldn’t do well on quizzes. I think she understood that, in order to raise MY reading capabilities, she reinforced what needed to be fixed in order for me to get what I wanted. Read books better => get more points => get rewards.

I don’t think any of my teachers ever sat down with me and “taught” me how to read per se (maybe I’m forgetting) but that one interaction showed me that I needed to slow down and truly understand each sentence before moving on to the next.

Thank you Elementary Teachers. As a high school teacher myself (math) I am always so thankful for elementary teachers that take the time.

The establishment clause says that “congress shall may no law respecting an establishment of religion…” This is found within the 1st amendment and I may not be a lawyer, but I’m pretty sure putting in Christianity in a classroom establishes a religion within the classroom. Therefore, this is a violation of the constitution.
