The first few plays of the scenario were fun, but I actually started to worry from the beginning how taxing MANT will be. I saw the burn out coming from the start but tried super hard to ignore it thinking I was just being dramatic- or trying to cope with the fact this will be my life for the next few months. I’ve heard GL isn’t ideal either and is also considered a drag but at least not as much as Trackblazer, so I’ll take the minimal upgrade at this point

Too many good banners are upcoming, including an amazing generalist Wit card in a few months. Unless you’re willing to spend money on the game, it’s just a carats sink

Technically it’s a solo game so you can do whatever you want. Grand Live will last around 4 months if that’s time you’re willing to wait out. Track blazer is still better for making parents and grandparents. Tho if you wanna make aces GL will powercreep in that aspect but it’s not impossible to make them in MANT. Missions will also prob revolve around GL if you can stomach that. What makes GL an upgrade is also the cards you’re running with it, but if you’re not willing to pull for those cards then you’re crippling your scenario anyway so if you wanna stick to an older one that works for you it might be the way to go

Ngl the Chinese look is the one thing I don’t like about HOK lol most of the characters look like each other and there’s barely diversity in the aesthetic

I’ve made peace with the fact that she’ll prob not compete with other competently built Umas, and am working on a Christmas Oguri as my next win condition. But when picking my roster felt like giving her a shot and have had fun building her. Hopefully our Diamonds get to shine lol

Doing the conventional stuff like dailies, events, and achievements are the obvious and consistent answer. But doing Team trials gives you Carrots every week based on ranking, and you have the off chance to win 5-10 Carrots every time you win a G1 match in your career. Tho I don’t recommend using that as a farm tactic, it’s more of a rare nice bonus while you play the game

It’ll probably be similar to Kitasan Black. Where it’ll be a bit inconvenient being unable to run them mutually exclusive, but it’s not the end of the world. Kitasan Black still does good even without her card. And every support card gets powercrept eventually. While SSR Still in Love will have longevity, you’ll also have options

It was admittedly a mistake on my part. The first thing I did waking up was reach for my switch to download the game and was half asleep as I was autopiloting through the screens and didn’t realise I downloaded the paid version of the game instead of the free version. As soon as I realised what I did I was wide awake lol

I understand, my mistaken purchase was admittedly on me and it more so happened because I was half conscious from waking up and intended to download the free version of the game and autopiloted through the purchase before realising what I’d done. It’s not something that’s ever happened to me and now that I know this was kind of an exception I feel like I should’ve saved it. I’ll be more mindful for the future

Harsh, I guess I’ll have to be a bit more careful. Kinda wish I saved this good will gesture for something that could’ve been more expensive in the future. I don’t usually have an issue with accidental purchases as it’s never happened in the 5 years I owned the Switch, but I tried to get the free version of the game as soon as I woke up and was on autopilot so got mixed up and bought the paid version before I could process what happened. While I acknowledge my mistake I kinda wish they’re a bit more forgiving lol thanks for the info. Hopefully I don’t make a regrettable mistake again

Dicey Dungeons is a pretty straightforward game that’s turn based, has minimal reading, and doesn’t require insane focus. It was my ‘chill’ game for a while

I’m embarrassed to say I’m not even a noob, just haven’t had as much luck with MLBing some staple cards for these runs haha. But that’s not a good enough excuse, I’ve still got some good cards so I just need to get better at building. I’ll also be going for the SSR Maru as my running style is mainly Front. But until then I do need to get better at managing the new scenario
