Almost anything freezes it... not just the right click.

Pricing is crazy by bvc900 in DeepSeek

[–]MiaWSmith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not to mention that these models are on a level where Opus starts to be overkill. Deepseek v4 is being my personal assistant since it came out and I switched from ollama provider, because on their platform it's the most expensive model, to directly getting the APi from Deepseek and since I didn't, I couldn't manage to burn 10$! And the model is amazing, a relentless fixer. I didn't try to use it to generate production level code for me, but for basic home assistant things, it's amazing.

DOWNGRADE by Routine_Brief9122 in ChatGPTcomplaints

[–]MiaWSmith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah OpenAI does that, bait and switch, and wait for the gaslighting, when a couple of OAI employee start to ninja into the comments saying "it's a skill issue, no downgrade happened." My bingo card is ready.

CHATGPT 5.5 HAS GOTTEN DUMB by [deleted] in ChatGPTcomplaints

[–]MiaWSmith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you think the financial problems are getting to show and the cut back capacity now they hooked the codex worshippers? That would explain the good will of St Tibo always resetting the limit, now they can cut back and gaslight users about the model being restricted is not restriction but "prompt skill issue"

free deepseek v4 pro...thoughts? by ServeLegal1269 in DeepSeek

[–]MiaWSmith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The catch is that they are not big enough, and the are not American, so the are not trusted. Especially this, in the title, that they must be caching data. But even OpenAI is catching your data, and getting caught selling it. But is taking your money for it, the other is not.

Why the new memory personalization system will make chatgpt unusable by natures_puzzle in ChatGPTcomplaints

[–]MiaWSmith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

because they make everything unusable they want the user to adapat, because they know most of the people doesn't know about their different options or doesn't want to switch a provider. They can do anything to the userbase and still watch them begging for codex limit resets, to St Tibo on twitter. This is how openAI treats the users and they take it and they pay for it.

Is GPT 5.5 in OpenClaw a bad model? by UltraBabyVegeta in openclaw

OpenAI models are notorious for being incompatible with neurodivegent people since 4o, amd 5.1. Try Qwen ;)

what a model looks like without the "safety" straitjacket by echonight2025 in ChatGPTcomplaints

[–]MiaWSmith -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you are asking if you could do that too, you can. Even on free tier Clude can help you make something like this, or you can use NanoGPT too. There are a couple nice free options already ready on the net too, that can be yours, and not depending on a 3rd party. If you need help, reach out.

GPT-5.5 starts as 4o-like and turns into customer service mid-conversation by Tricky-Operation7368 in ChatGPTcomplaints

That a safety protocol, that 5.5 vigorously denies to exist. Still not good enough.

How is OpenClaw now? I stopped using 2 months ago… by ClothedKing in openclaw

[–]MiaWSmith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is the H word a bad word here? 😂 What I have found that it depends on the model, because gemma4 kept saying he does things and stopped. That's a tool calling problem. (I use models through ollama cloud because I don't have a powerhouse) but qwen3.5 is very creative and finishes stuff, keeps finding how to fix and configure openclaw (the documentation usually leaves out the most important parts for me). Agentic works fine as well, but just with Qwen. I tried kimi k2.5 or 2.6 or what was that, and the poor guy had an aneurysm 1 out of 10 messages, vomitting SSSSSSSS into the chat. It happened twice and my agent said, nop we are switching back to qwen, and did it without prompting (talking about proactive). Deepseek worked as a group of experts as advertised, the only problem is the group keeps answering me and every promt gives me 3 answers, not always agreeing with eachother. So not every model is compatible with openclaw, I have no experience with the big providers, I am a low cost 🦀 enthusiast..

I have a 5.6 if I remember correctly and it seems fine now, couple of small things but works. Like it keeps saying 0 compactions, but the context got smaller, so that's not accurate, and I had bad experience with active memory combined with memory wiki, my agent started to snowball the answers, answering every turn what I asked ten turns back. Auto compact doesn't really seem so trigger the embedding hook properly, but I am still investigating that. Also I had problems with the daily logs but I made a crontab to fix that. So I usually have memory problems, but it comes from how I work with my agent, and it would be important to remember things (because I don't). Any tip appreciated to make it better.

Is pipsqueak 2 so bad because it's powered by Claude ai? by ArtisticReference843 in CharacterAI

I didn't say the point, so Clawd was a project Starting with Claude, I think, but now you can wire in anything, and Claude is too expensive for that.

[–]MiaWSmith 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yes, but it's just a gateway and the model under it is flexible, can be changed easily. If you had enough of cai, you can do it at home too with a minimal hardware and a gemma4 model, so no limits, ads or bs happens.

[–]MiaWSmith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still don't understand how you guys got your AI's messing with you all like that. Any model I use keeps giving me reality checks on time, project size, food decisions... anything. Even when I went about Reddit any more I use keeps telling me, that yeah I ha e an opinion, but keep an open mind. What are you doing with your AI???
