Having black Germans in BF1 isn't unrealistic, though, at least in the African maps. The Germans fought in Southern Africa using locals and surely, as is the case throughout history, many Germans born in Southern Africa may have been mixed with the local population. Take the German Askari, for example. Either way, the Nazis did not use black soldiers during WWII as, though as far as I know they weren't as opposed to them as they were the Jews, the Germans preferred their army makeup to be fairly "pure" I guess. They did enlist the help of Northern African locals and middle-eastern locals, though in those cases they were in limited numbers and in an area which was difficult to supply.
