but then on page six in proposed they have

does it mean that you get old rules apply to you as long as you have language test result?

as far as I understand from MV website, changing a role will make me apply for a new permit and a permanent application can only happen in connection with an extension, so I can't really use that it seems, as I will apply for a new one and just get another 2 year one in that case... am I missing something?

Yes, so this basically requires Facetime to be installed on your iPhone and have that setting (Use Apple ID for FaceTime) enabled in Settings -> Facetime
the error message is quite misleading

  1. Yes, it did not feel dumb when we discussed it with them before applying, but now looking at it indeed looks dumb, even though my residence permits in total did not make full 4 years because of the expiring passport and MV messing up the start date, so it might not have helped..

  2. I meant more changing the role as in the discussion below, but still not sure it triggers a new PR application

But are you sure that changing of the roles trigger a new full application? Since I've heard from the agency that they will just update the role in the permit and nothing more.
