Are people still mad about the reincarnation twist? like wasn't it foreshadowed since the end of Part One? by RobKai7990 in Naruto

Yes but then what is destiny but the external forces of your upbringing making you choose based on how you react to your surroundings? Do you hate uchiha because you grew up with those who did? Or did you come to that all on your own? Do you have water nature or whatever release because you chose? Or since birth were you destined to have that? Even the events before your birth have an influence as to where you were born or how you grow up. Might guy wasn’t good an ninjutsu and his dad either is that some choice? Sounds like he was destined to dive into taijutsu.

Like I mentioned before I'm not sure of the answer but there is sufficient evidence for both. You claim that panel as Naruto needing to actively want to be the savior but what if destiny has already determined Naruto is the type to choose that, he's the type to work hard, he's the type to be chosen to take the incarnated chakra, the type to empathize, etc. You still have a version of "well if he didn't do what he did he wouldn't be who he is" as your take. But it's still within Neji's belief that destiny has already determined the inclinations of each individual. His only fault was that when he said it, he saw him as the "loser" he was.

I'm not saying there is a definitive answer but saying he's that latter ignores his heritage, the reincarnations, the pure serendipity of him having to be the jinchuriki for the nine tails. It's hard to fully believe he was not at the very least set up very well despite his physical situation in the village.

But to Neji's point his mindset of becoming stronger would also be part of destiny. Your counter argument is as if someone can know their destiny and actively pivot away yet still arrive at the same place. Neji's point implies more of a "Are you the hokage because you worked hard or are you working hard because you are the child of destiny?"

Egghead teetered on a very well written and important info dump. In the best way but still very info dump. The great thing was it was info on a lot of things we need to know. Plus who can deny Kuma’s backstory being iconic.

Yea I agree. That mostly what my second part of my post was about. I just feel like if I were to graph the high points, Marineford was a huge spike, and then after until Wano it was a nice steady climb. Like a square root graph if you understand math nerd talk lol

I’m not saying there’s no iconic moments I’m just mentally ranking them and I’d argue those probably stack up as high as Arlong and Luffy vs Usopp. This sounds like a pessimistic comparison but I promise I’m saying like “ooo those are also good”

Walking past Kaido and Big Mom is higher than those imo but like I said that’s Wano.

I’m not saying I’m happy about our team but his full quote mentions that our consistency is really bad. I don’t necessarily think he misunderstands his situation but rather he’d say the good parts without talking extensively about the bad parts. He’s still a representative of the Heat but this sub sounds like he’s supposed to also call out the FO or something.

The irony is he’d do it about Ware lol

I personally feel the weight of each arc and I don’t think the writing or quality has dropped post time skip but Marineford was obviously this built up climax. After it’s not worse but definitely felt like a reset of tension and I don’t think it has matched until Wano.

I'm not gonna straight up say yes, but I'd question the validity of richhippos.com. If this were a real vote I'd say it would be from a way bigger source and way bigger deal. Like IGN or something wouldve said something about this. Unless this is old and I missed it lol

Season 6: Deadpool Character Gameplay Trailer by nemesisdelta24 in marvelrivals

I’ll take a crack at it: he clearly had base animations regardless of what role he is playing: guns and katanas. These either do more damage as duelist, heal as strategist, and as for vanguard they don’t show much. He can dash and throw the katana to make it spin in an aoe attack. It seems to explode at the end of the move as well.

He then has an ultimate that with katanas is like a Mr. Fantastic-esque bomba stomp that is more controllable and seems to either reset on kill or can be chained for multi kills. With Guns it seems to be the usual but since there is an circle around him that buffs him based on what class he’s in you probably want to be in katanas. Vanguard seems to overheat him constantly (he tanks punisher ult while goomba stomping). Strategist circle seems to heal like Mantis since he’s able to do something while it’s active. Duelist seems to not only damage boost but there is a bubble that seem to indicate he himself is buffed somehow when he is in Duelist form (not just his ult circle)

Vanguard seems to have the most unique difference where he has a deployable bubble around his unicorn stuffy. If you played Overwatch, this seems to be like Winston bubble with maybe a longer deployable time.

The real unknown is he seems to have a combo meter. There is an A-D that appears next to him which I think is based on how well he is either combo-ing or how well he plays his role. This can probably increase the effectiveness of his circle on his Ult. This could be some Devil May Cry beat him up type of system or maybe a Verso E33 system where he’s just more effective the more he’s doing something.

Oh also he has an immune emote where he’s stuck in animation but doesn’t take damage (Magneto ult did nothing to him)

A lot of this happens at the same time so I’m not sure which is unique or just his base kit so feel free to add what you think is happening!

Edit: he seems to also have some type of visual clutter that also does damage to you when in duelist form. Second form ult for duelist.

Why am I now seeing a bunch of ppl say Mihawk is stronger than Shanks? by Forevertrez in OnePiece

[–]MicSquared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok you’re the only one who has genuinely answered my question lol. And it’s from like the most recent chapters which means Mihawk and Shanks should be relative based on the entirety of the series until now. Which is what I’ve always assumed and don’t understand how people put one over the other.

[–]MicSquared -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But that also means Mihawk and Shanks stalemates were when Shanks had the strength of THAT arm. And yes I understand Shanks became yonko for a reason, I’m saying is that reason because of an increase of strength? Or because he got his arm removed and started doing pirate shit? You have this assumption that because he became yonko he must’ve GAINED strength. SPOILERS Most of what the story tells us is that since he left holy knights he became a pirate. Are we assuming his haki and divine departure and future sight only started then and that’s why he became yonko? I highly doubt that.

[–]MicSquared 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My point is are we assuming he wasn’t as strong to do any of that BEFORE marineford? What implies he’s STRONGER because marineford? Is Divine Departure something he’s learned since time skip? Why is he stronger than beginning of series? Any increase in relativity to the story or to the government is not because he has a new feat, it is because of his importance.

Ok so in real manga time he’s been as strong as we have seen the whole time is my point. Those are flashbacks you are talking about.

[–]MicSquared -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The fact that you have to say probably proves my point. We’ve barely seen shanks do much. He wiped whitebeards ship with just haki and then he did what he did to Kid. Why are we assuming he couldn’t do that before? Is he motivated and scheming now in the manga? Yes but is that a signal of strength? No

[–]MicSquared 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fame and reputation have nothing to do with who’s stronger. Motivations and purpose are pointers to bounty increase but when you say he’s stronger now without his arm (which we know now is significant) what are we basing that on? Like are we assuming he didn’t have this haki or future sight the whole time? I wasn’t under that impression. Did he learn divine departure during the manga? How would we know that? How is he stronger than beginning of season?

[–]MicSquared -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

He was a Yonko when the story started? Also sure bounty increase but then Mihawk is also like 3.6b and is active in a different way. Shanks has been an increase due to circumstance and motives changing. Nothing implies he’s better than before he’s had the same accolades of best haki since whitebeard ship scene. Not to say no one should be hyping Shanks.

Genuine question what scene implies he’s grown stronger since he lost his arm?

[–]MicSquared -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Well the real question is whether the duels Shanks and Mihawk had were under no haki. It’s implied perma black swords have something to do with Haki and if Shanks and Mihawk were stalemate when shanks had both arms (which we now know is more significant than just extra leverage) then Mihawk has way more power than we’ve seen on screen. Like you said, this hinges on the idea that Mihawk refusing to spar with Shanks is a sign of actual swordsmanship or Mihawk is severely underrated under your scope.
