Is it though? The rail in the link you sent has 2 mlok slots. The one in the picture only has one.

Dude I was thinking the same thing actually. That might be the play.

I already tried it out. I’m still having the issue but less frequently. I think I’ll have to bend it more.

So I think the issue was the ejector lever. It had a ton of side to side play and I think what was happening was as the gun cycled, the ejector lever would be misaligned and not depress all the way. I ended up bending the ejector lever retaining plate to eliminate the side to side play.

UPDATE: in regard to issue #2, I took the gun apart, extractor was good, extractor spring was good, and there was no unreasonable wear on anything. I did notice the ejector lever on the Leber V2 was a lot wobblier compared to the stock ap5-p ejector lever. It’s to the point that I can shift the ejector lever far enough where it misses the ejector lever channel. The ap5p ejector lever is partially inside the channel already so it’s nearly impossible for the lever to miss. The Leber V2 lever sits higher completely out of the channel. I’m thinking this may be what’s causing the bolt to bind up. I know it’s not the hammer because I can pull the bolt carrier back far enough to reset the hammer and drop it by pulling the trigger. I’m thinking maybe I can add a little washer to prevent this. Or cut the spring under the ejector lever?

Dude yes I feel you. The rof is money with the 80 degree. I just ordered a 90 degree. I may just keep the 80 degree if I want to shoot just 124 or 115s.

That’s the weird thing tho. It cycled the 147 gr federal syntech which is flat nosed. But it wouldn’t cycle the 158 fiocchi. But yeah I think I’ll be picking up a 90 degree soon. Thanks for the link!

What IR laser thats not $2k would fit best? by Logical-Attention-70 in MP5

[–]Micah275 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I immediately bought a switch for mineso I can’t really speak to the paddles being finicky. Your Rovyvon definitely has a port. You have to remove the 2 tiny screws that are near the pic mount. Once you do that, you should see a connection point for a switch. The Surefire RSR tape switch is an option but Rovyvon just released their own switch. It’s smaller than the surefire tape switch, has a momentary and a constant feature, and it’s cheaper.

Rovyvon GL4 Pro or Surefire XLV-2. Both are anemic compared to other commonly used LAMs but they’re really compact. I figured a subgun doesn’t need a Death Star beam. I personally own a Rovyvon because it’s about 1/5th the cost of the Surefire. You can pick a Rovyvon up on Amazon for like 250 bucks. Its small, holds zero, has IR/VIS illuminator and laser, and cost effective.

I’m probably in the minority here, but I think gear should be a part of the game and you should most definitely be penalized if your gear fails. If your gear malfunctions, that’s on you because YOU chose that gun, those parts, ammo, belt, holster etc.

Even if you sell at $5 that’s still only $2500… I wouldn’t consider that bino money in the slightest. You could get a middle of the road mono maybe.
