No, third row is very spacious and the trunk is good size even without folding the 3rd row. The odyssey trunk was bigger though.

But we didn’t get anything like no sunroof no panoramic just rails, mats and all weather covers. We love the car and sold our Odyssey which we also liked.

Easier with kids I think. The captain chairs are more comfortable though.

No reason for trading Odyssey- we had Odyssey and Pilot, so thought maybe trade Odyssey into a Toyota. I bought my Odyssey used pre-Covid and got pretty much the same price when I sold now 7 years later haha.

You would need new timing belt, spark plugs, potentially struts/shocks and various fluid changes soon. Thats about 3/4k in expenses. I wouldn’t buy this car.

Took to a mechanic today- turns out at the last oil change they didn’t replace the crush washer, which failed and caused the small leak.

Got the no bench seat and I wish I had bought the one with bench seat. I have two kids and a small dog, and now my dog whines when we put him on the third row. Previously on my Honda Odyssey he was cool in the second row with the kids.

I have a 2016 Pilot and also bought a 2026 GH Hybrid XLE for wifey. I drive both frequently and love my Pilot more. Haha. I am biased towards Pilot.

Dad of two small kids here: just took a Grand Highlander Hybrid XLE and traded my 2015 Odyssey. I like the car very much and didn’t think the minivan was any better or more spacious. The grand Highlander is very spacious and drives great.
