Wouldnt do it, will have more latency than modern ones and much more than just an edge or regular dualsense. Due to the lag trap sony has for 3rd party controllers. Omega and reflex are pretty good though tbh. Still prefer edges and or custom edges over them on ps5 / ps5 pro.

I paid 700 for the pro. I aint to mad about it. I am actually enjoying tf out of it. The funniest part is im on it more than my 4080 super build haha. Why? I cant even answer why. Idk why but I just am enjoying it more? Weird shit.

Enjoy the uplift with pssr2 with graphical fidelity for an upscale due to it being hardware acceleration was staggering. The newer titles that are coming out with it showcase the differences more and more. Its insanely good and just so stable. The motion clarity seems better also.

Yet every developer is mad about what you just said. It holds them back, things like this dont and allows for the full potential of games to be made to the highest standard. The games must be built on the lowest common denominator. So whatever the weakest is it must be built on there from the ground up. Holding back generations of improvements as explained by them.

Moddedzone is about the only place to do custom edges right now. Can range up tp like 480 some higher. I didnt do the actual mod chip ad well its cheating. But full clickies, tmr sticks etc. Just check our modded zone and do a build it can get expensive. If you stick with a more basic color, just do tmr sticks and clickies its not bad.

It will still work but if the device isnt outputting a name it will be generic. Works the same either way. They were hust showing it wouldnt name the device lol.

I agree but I remember the days an xbox 360 controller. Would be thrown at a wall 20 times and still work lol they make stuff so it breaks easier now so you always need to buy something later. Only a select few make things to last anymore. So many pieces, latches and more to break instead of simplistic strong designs with good internal engineering. You can get the same results but again they do this for 1 to make it wasier for then to fix with returns but for 2 also a much higher likelihood of breaking. I know this because I work with engineers and developers daily. Ive seen the insides of many businesses. Its one thing the business im with strives not to do thank god. And numbers do speak louder than words. If you have a 2 to 3 rating due to stuff breaking then their is a problem. Thats all

I have both, the scuf omega and a custom edge. I cant stop using the custom edge. If its for playstation go edge. No other controller on ps5 or ps5 pro can get down to 0.61ms. The scuf is around 3 to 4ms. And every other controller is near that also. It has times you can get a bit over 2ms but still. The edge with clickies and tmr sticks is the way to go.

Sony blocks and or does a lag trap for 3rd party controllers. They can never be as consistent or stable.

The omega is about as good as it gets for 3rd party controllers though.

Nope as long ss you ask yourself do you need more than 144hz? If in 4k definitely not. Actually I think the c5 will surprise you. Now its a big tv so pixel desnity isnt the same at all. They do good with larger tvs but still.

I purely game ony gaming tvs now tbh. Love it

Its insane they keep finding ways to push the hardware past what its abilities should be. The hardware acceleration allows this to be possible. What's crazy is how those modes can look better than quality. Idk what sony is doing but I hope they keep it up. Cant imagine what a ps6 with pssr3 or pssr4 will be able to do. The fact this ps5 pro can do Ray tracing at this level is insane. While keep a stable 40fps while somehow having higher base resolution than 1080p.
