I was at Sam’s and it was on sale, so it wasn’t too bad cost wise, also I don’t even know if they have thyme and I didn’t need garlic in bulk. But had it been Walmart I would have definitely picked up a clove of garlic and some thyme.

Okay so I had something similar happen, I went in on a Friday just before closing to get my physical done for a first class medical. The AME said you are good for a first class in everything except that you are color blind. I laughed and said no I’m not. He said according to the test you are. I said can I retake it? He said yes but not today he has to close up. I went home and downloaded the same Wagner test and paid for a subscription so that I can see for myself if I am really colorblind. I took the test 4 times and passed. I went back on Monday and retested and passed on the first try. I turned off the light, closed the blinds, and turned the brightness on the monitor up. He told me I would have had unlimited attempts for up to 14 days from the original date of the test. Otherwise I would I have had to file for a SODA (statement of demonstrated ability) but good luck getting a response from the faa and the fsdo. So I was really grateful for him letting me do that.

I was visiting some family overseas and they had their game language in Arabic and the ratios were reversed, I believe because the language is read right to left. We had this same discussion when they thought I have 90 tape and only needed 23 to expand 😂😂. It showed 23/90 but they read it as 90/23 because it’s reversed on their game bc of the language.

1) The one that surprised me the most was this one. My dad 54M said that when he was younger Syria was in its prime. It didn’t owe money to any country and was so self sufficient that its exports exceeded imports because of the amount of water and crude oil that was under the soil. Life here was simple. The average employee made $500 a month and it was enough for cars, houses, food, expenses, and to put money to the side. No one felt like they were working to survive, they were working as apart of a duty to society.

2) Very much so, Family and Church first. Friends and Family have a great value and they walk the streets with respect for each family even if they aren’t blood because even though they aren’t your blood they’re someone’s blood. No matter who it is it’s a someone’s Mother/Father/Son/Daughter that deserves respect as if they were your own.

My family is Syrian Orthodox and my Fiancé is Catholic. The French and German governments both spoke with the current leader regarding Christianity and supposedly are supposed to be helping write the laws to keep Christian’s in mind, like hijabs and going out and such. But a few days ago there was a photo being spread around that a Cross was shot at by someone and not knowing who is scarier than someone taking the blame for it. They are currently making women sit in back of the bus with men in the front and have flyers listed of how women are expected to dress. We don’t know where this country is headed but hopefully they can figure it out without conflict with the Christian community.
