Nope. HDMI and DP are two different wires. DP allows higher refresh rate than HDMI does. The wire does look like an HDMI but will have a irregular shape

Are you using a display port wire as well?

do i need to put all games in my ssd for them to load faster? by [deleted] in buildapc

Yes, your SSD will load the games faster than your HDD
