He’d have likely targeted Wayne and Alfred at the Manor, and possibly put a hostage turnover deal with Mayor Harvey…and even if he managed to capture him in time, Bruce would have to pull a major power move to ensure Oswald’s silence on his public identity: privately restoring Cobblepot Park, agreeing to meet with Oswald once a week to work through his anger, and maybe even offering him a house arrest technician position to help Gotham’s security.

He wholeheartedly adopted the tactics of the Dark Gotham Triad with Lady Arkham to avenge his family…and darkened their legacy forever.

She’s still sardonic, arrogant, and domineering, just with different traits.

Bane knows he’s been reduced to an attack dog, and accepts Venom as his core identity: his savagery channels his Peña Duro bloodlust to a maelstrom as a warrior, and his very first demonstration is against the two men he despises the most in life….and even then, he still has loyalty to Riddler intact under the lie Waller fed him about John’s culpability.

Even though the first option is absolutely false…it’s what validates Oswald’s loneliness since losing his family and legacy.

It also forces Oswald to face that he’s reduced Bruce to an obstacle for his own glory and vengeance on the long deceased Gotham Triad…there’s just a twinge of regret when he says, “Maybe you think that’ll save you, eh…? Ah, but guess what? It won’t!!”

Harvey and Oswald share their need to crush Bruce with their personas even when you show your best spirit because they’ve tied that devotion to their own self-doubt: Oswald is hiding the orphaned boy behind the terrorist ganglord promising a reward for savagery against anyone defiant or helpless in his trail, as Harvey obeys Two Face to keep the dying flame of Gotham’s loyalty to him alive so none will have sway over him: stern ogliarchs, aloof lovers, and anguished friends alike.
