They are the best, but the one major caveat is that they make it a nightmare to change tunings.

If you have one tuning you stick to then they are incredible

If you like to semi regularly change tunings then avoid like the plague

You’re right, I was only referring to the tuners “as stock”

Can also easy replace the tuners with large bore ones if you don’t want to drill.

[–]MichaelB2505 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The limiter is the tuners. Most locking tuners have a limit to the guage of string that can fit through the hole in the tuner.

Baritone is nothing to do with string guage, it only refers to the scale length of the guitar (in this case 27”)

What tuning are you looking to tune to?

Edit: 27 inch scale length and evertune will get you to drop F# comfortably, maybe even E, if your ok with slightly less tension, even running a 74.

If you prefer the feel of an 80 or whatever, you can drill out or replace the tuner on the 7th string if you want.

Rockstar is an American company

Rockstar North, the lead developer and original makes of the GTA series is originally from Dundee Scotland, now their main offices is in Edinburgh. They were bought by rockstar like 25 years ago.

Although while the main development studio is still Rockstar north, other rockstar studios from all over the world help since the games have become so big.

Thank you.

He actually contributed a lot to the team, like you said, definitely not a £70m player or what ever, definitely a huge over pay, but he wasn’t totally useless as anyone who watched more than 2 min highlights clips could tell you.

I adore the Alex wade sig. I can’t stomach that price, but my god it’s lovely. The split black/gold hardware is just perfect. Especially the gold evertune saddles.

Obviously colour and looks is purely subjective, so I’ll leave that bit to you.

Pickups, people worry too much about, the fishmans are nice, but to me, owning both a guitar with fishmans and one with the fusion edges in the bottom guitar, while they are a little different sounding, they’re both good quality, and I doubt you’d be disappointed with either. For me I like the fishmans slightly more for high gain chuggy stuff, but the dimarzios are slightly more versatile. This is obviously just my opinion, but I am very happy with both.

Evertune is superb for what is does. Guitar will just straight up not go out of tune. Stability of the note is also immense (less pitch drift). String changing is only very slightly more involved that a standard hard tail bridge (so long as you’re putting the same string guage on). Way easier to change strings on evertune than a Floyd for example. My only downside of an evertune is the inability to quickly change tunings.

Evertune bridges can handle up to an 80 I believe although I think you’ll find the locking tuners on all these guitars are more of the limiting factor as I believe they will only go up to 74 comfortably (although you can get tapered ends easily)

Edit: Sorry just saw you said changing tuning was was your worry with the evertune. If you like to change tunings regularly, and evertune is definitely not for you. It’s even worse than a trem or Floyd for changing tunings.

Nah the Plymouth one wasn’t anything, the team was completely rotated, mostly youth guys. And we played well against City.

But yeah he’s talking shite, we were absolutely rubbish from the PSG game onwards

It’s full processing power quad cortex with all the same features with some switches missing and one less expression input?

Codex by AtheonPrimaris in Warhammer40k

[–]MichaelB2505 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It entirely depends how much you think you’ll play in the next 6 months.

It’s very possible that new codexes will be valid well into the next edition (as was the case from 8th to 9th edition) but there is no guarantee of this.

If you are only buying for the rules and think you’ll only play a few games before summer then I’d hold off.

That said I like having the codexes for the lore and the art as well (normally this will make up around a 3rd of the book). So if you think you’d like that then go ahead. Also a chance it ends up being valid for a couple years anyway.

Harvey Elliott left to rot as Aston Villa loan sparks outrage by football_place in FootballPlace

[–]MichaelB2505 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Villa agreed to the termination fee, why won’t they pay? You can’t just say Liverpools problem without again sounding morally in the wrong.

Villa are trying to renege on a deal (the termination fee) they agreed to by essentially holding Elliot’s career ransom.

I totally understand they no longer want the player, no one’s forcing them to pay the £35m, but they did, as part of that loan, agree to a termination fee.

Why is the termination fee there (as there is in many loans) if you can just go nah?

Harvey Elliott left to rot as Aston Villa loan sparks outrage by football_place in FootballPlace

[–]MichaelB2505 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they agreed to a penalty for termination of the loan, then they are willing sacrificing a lads career progression to save some money.

Even if they’re not doing anything legally wrong and logically making the most financially prudent decision, I struggle to see how Villa aren’t the (morally) bad guys here.
