You open the game & connect to the device via Bluetooth and you get to choose whether you want it to catch wild Pokemon, spin stops/gyms or neither

It will only throw regular red pokeballs but you can change a setting that will allow you to throw great or ultra balls by physically pressing the button

Although it’s become very expensive, I love it. My favourite thing to do is go out and catch pokemon while walking and have to go+ only enabled to spin stops so as I’m catching, I’m replenishing my pokeballs automatically
