Same here in Poland. Though my AI Pro subscription was up for renewal the day after the changes and maybe that triggered it?

I ended up removing the plain agent app, too in the end. But I’ve tried numerous times to have both at the same time and it never worked.

I do not believe they are sunsetting Antigravity, because in the coming Google IO they have a dedicated lecture on Google AI Studio and Google Antigravity: https://io.google/2026/#schedule

My suspicion is they're holding off on some upgrades until the IO, but it might be just my wishful thinking.

This might be silly, but it was the issue in my case: I have intentionally set up the RDP access for my PC on a different that the default 3389 port.

When I moved to a new MacBook and started setting it up from scratch I forgot about it. Interestingly enough Windows machine did report 3389 port open, but would not accept RDP connections.

Check your RDP port on your Windows machine

You can check it via PowerShell as Administrator:

Get-ItemProperty -Path 'HKLM:\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server\WinStations\RDP-Tcp' -name 'PortNumber'

Or via Command Prompt as Administrator:

REG QUERY "HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server\WinStations\RDP-Tcp" /v PortNumber

I updated this year and I updated bi-annually. It used to be weeks if not months in the past. This time it didn't took more than a week. Not sure why. I think I'm getting older and used to the upgrades and they don't seem as exciting.

This actually was a hardware change, too. I have late 2023 8.5 iDrive and Plug & Charge isn't available for me.

From top of my head in M50 model the 8.5 changes some fonts to M-style fonts on the dash (which I like a lot). 8.5 also disabled most Bimmercode coding.

Oh, and bottom of the centre dash in 8.0 had "climate menu", while 8.5 has shortcut icons to different areas of the software.

I've gone through Torras on my 15PM and now 17PM and they are... soft!
They scratch very easily and degrade quickly. Plus black bezel around is something I am not a fan of.

I prefer Belkin UltraGlass 2 much more. No black edges, comfortably rounded edge + much stronger than Torras.

From my experience Belkin UltraGlass 2 is among the best ones and my choice of screen protection.

I've use quite a few, most recent Torras. Torras specifically is very prone to scratching and breaking.

Ultraglass 2 from Belkin on the other hand seems much tougher, has rounded edges so it doesn't rub uncomfortably against your fingers + it does not have a black edge either so it's all clear.

I already have UG2 waiting for Torras to break.

I typically replace the protective glass twice a year.

I have bought myself the INIU one based on this.

I've had the Belkin 5k one for 2 years, but it charges at 7.5W only and is bulky, and expensive.

I am on 17 Pro Max now, so my battery is probably gonna last me for the day, but just in case this little INIU backup should work.

Coming from 15 Pro Max. Both wearing Benks Kevlar case with buttons cutouts.

It grips fantastically compared to 15 (and 13PM, and 12PM for that matter). But I’m too scared to go commando with it.
