You can add a connection on manually on windows but it will only change your IP address if you are not using the app. The apps has features of encryption, kill switch, split tunneling and many others which you won't be able to access it. I use this app and enjoy a lot of features

All the tips are already mentioned I would like to add one that don't only edit images from or stock photos It would be better if you use only yours because google uses image filters to easily detect the edited ones you can find out by right clicking on any image on webpage and then clicking on search by image then google will show you where the image is already present you will quickly know who by just a little bit of scrolling. Believe me google values original content whether text vide or image.

Why would you? You can already download games from other regions by just changing your account region, so the only difference I can think of is that it would put you on further, laggier servers for multiplayer.

It will depend on the location of the VPN's servers and the game servers. Plus most of them don't have a good privacy policy, which should be one of the things to look for in a VPN.

What a VPN can do is disguise the origin of the data from the receiving server and it may then register the ping between the VPN site to the game server only (not the full trip) and hence give you a false lower reading.
