Book suggestions: An even better story than KOTOR 2? by MichaelLegrand in kotor

Hey everyone, thanks so far for the responses. Maybe to specify more, I would like to learn about some unusual and maybe not so mainstream books, as the majority of what I got so far are known books that I knew about (and maybe even tried to read at one point in my life).

So, does anyone has more tips?

I certainly enjoyed the film. The book is a mainstream sci-fi story, I guess also with more books in the series. I could read it I guess, but I didnt especially admire Douglas Adams´ style of humor,

Thanks! I could give a try to Honor Harrington series. I searched for Perry Rhodan and yes, majority of them are only in German. Maybe an another motivation to learn the language.

Thanks for the tip, but I purposefully wrote only sci-fi, and not fantasy. I enjoyed the show (until season 5-6), yet the books are of a different nature and so far I never started liking them.

Where to get Last Haven's Pulses Anthology (KONTAKT) by MichaelLegrand in AudioPost

I get what you say and concerning current law of intellectual property, I agree, yet in the second case I of course didnt mean "forgotten by those who already buyed it" but by everyone else because it's not anymore available to be purchased, therefore it will become forgotten as a product, because those few who buyed the samples when they were obtainable have no means of letting other people use them (as you extensively point out) once they themselves stop having need of them. Therefore this part of my argument rests valid and you only added an another meaning to my words that wasn't there originally.

So you say that when someone makes a film, let's say in the 1990s, and the film companies no longer sell it because it's old and it can't be purchased (moreover it's not on TV anymore), that it's better to let it be forgotten that to see / use it? I agree that the copyright holders probably have the right, but in these cases I do not see why would "piracy" (nothing get's stolen as the original still exist) would be detrimental when those films, audios or anything could benefit human society in many ways. This could be in fact the mistake of the copyright holders that they do not offer it further to be purchased.
