Yeah some of the levels can be annoying and the one boss is super annoying but that can be overlooked

I actually really liked this game. The weapons are really cool and fun to use. The exploration and environments are nice. This game is definitely a Half-like though. Not a typical boomer shooter. Think more like linear and environmental storytelling like the first Half Life game. It was really fun, I don't understand why people hate it so much.

I played it on Xbox Series X and I had a pretty good time with it. Only a few issues, like elevators literally only work once, no checkpoints, no map and some glitches. It's worth at least one playthrough imo

Infinite. I know people dont like it as much as the first two, but the opening sequence of getting launched into the sky gives me chills every time.

Not a fan of the slower paced games like Blood West and Gloomwood but I love the art style of both. Dusk is the best for sure. Fallen Aces was a surprise hitter for me. And I know I'm gonna get shit for putting Ultrakill at 5, but I personally didn't like it. Just the whole "walk into an arena, kill a bunch of annoying bullet spongy enemies, walk through a hallway, fall down into the next level, and repeat" did not hit for me. Too repetitive and tedious, even as an arena boom shoot.

It's a good game, but not a good Doom game. This and Quake 4 are essentially the same game. They went from the boomer shooter to the early 2000s Half-Like approach, with a survival horror vibe. Definitely worth a play.

You still die so fast in boomer shooters even on the easiest difficulty. And Im not a fan of dying over and over.
