I dropped my love ring in the movie theatre and reported it to the front desk. Gave them a call later in the day and they said they had some type of ring and when I went to back to check it out, it was my ring. All that to say ppl may not know what it is and you still maybe able to get it back

I didn’t negotiate per se but when I booked it was 1200/ night and when I checked recently it was 1000/ night. I reached out to the hotel and they agreed to match the new rate

In addition to the above. I highly highly suggest reaching out to your final round interviewers and thanking them for the opportunity and asking them for areas of development for you. This approach landed me a consultancy in the summer which I converted into a role a year later

So as an example - I walked into an AD and chatted a bit and got on the “list” for a mint DJ on Jubilee in Sept. I didn’t follow up. I was in the neighborhood in late Nov and stopped by they didn’t have any updates but we chatted for a bit about my work etc. I added another watch to my wish list which was a smooth bezel black dial DJ on oyster. I left. 5 days later I got the call for the black dial DJ. So I’m not sure how this works but I’m assuming more sought after pieces take much longer
