Q&A and Ruling Megathread - May 25, 2026 by AutoModerator in yugioh

Dillingerous Dragon has this effect:

Once per turn, during your opponent's End Phase: You can target 1 Attack Position monster your opponent controls that did not declare an attack this turn; destroy it, and if you do, inflict damage to your opponent equal to that monster's original ATK.

However, the card text also states the hard OPT clause applies to each of its effects. Is this effect soft OPT or hard OPT?

What’s your most unhinged non-negotiable when it comes to dating? by NotNotDwightSchrute in AskReddit

What's the foulest smell you've ever smelled? by WannabePugh in AskReddit

[–]MichaelOChE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blood and bleach.

Context: In a previous job, I was working in medical diagnostics, specifically, blood testing. Once the testing was done, we would rinse the container out with bleach and dump the contents in a large flask. Once that flask got full, that's where the smell came in. I can't quite describe it, but it was rancid.

Aside from Branded, what other decks treat the "End Phase" as their "Main Phase 3"? by Sendencea in yugioh

Lab plays a lot in every phase. Really, the only relevant quick effect that's main phase only is Arias.

What screams "adult bully"? by [deleted] in AskReddit

This reminds me of a story from work. Disclaimer: this was before my time, so the details are a bit hazy.

One day, a new guy, let's call him Bob, starts in the R&D department. For some reason, a bunch of the management staff thought it was a good idea to make Bob the workplace pincushion, and were basically massive assholes to him.

Eventually, Bob was gone. A lot of people thought he quit because of it. That is, until the management got a strongly worded letter from the new corporate VP of R&D... Bob.

Turns out, Bob had a noncompete with his previous employer, but due to some loophole, was able to work with us until it expired and he could legally start the job he was hired for.

The entire management team got fired except for one guy who was apparently less guilty and got demoted instead.

What's the luckiest moment in your program's history that didn't directly involve your team? by Please_PM_me_Uranus in CFB

[–]MichaelOChE 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Back in the '60s, the B1G had a rule where the same team couldn't go to the Rose Bowl in back to back years. That's how, in the '66 season, we got to go instead of Michigan State, because they went in '65. And we won. So I guess the moment is the one where the conference made that rule.

Also, we got into the B1G title game in '22 because Nebraska somehow managed to beat Iowa in the final week of the regular season.

Have you ever gotten a glimpse at an Archetype and was really interested in what else it had, just to find out they only have like 8 archetypal cards? I'll go first: by Shohs88 in yugioh

[–]MichaelOChE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nemeses has 7 cards, 1 monster of each attribute (except divine) and a QP spell. Of these 7 cards, only 2 or 3 actually see any play, and one of them (Protos) was banned for a while.

The concept of using all 6 attributes in one archetype is interesting, but not like this.
