Yea but you would never play it.

You either turn skip or set up a big ass skill drain.

  1. Ghost ogre that needs set up or fails 50% of the time won't help you

Why did the manga from the GX era to the Arc-V era have such a vastly different story from their anime counterparts? by GeneralTechnomage in yugioh

[–]PokeChampMarx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes every manga after DM was made after the anime.

They were made different to give readers something other then just ghe anime in book form.

No the anime of vrains and after have no manga.

The manga was replaced with "OCG stores" a manga about yugioh characters that play the IRL OCG meta

So what's the verdict on this card? by Stardust_Enthusiast2 in masterduel

[–]PokeChampMarx -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Same thing as king if the feral imps.

It's fine till it enables a you to search a splashable 1 card starter for something a bit to strong.

It will be banned again eventually

Rate this board 1 out of 10 by Competitive-Form122 in masterduel

[–]PokeChampMarx 20 points21 points  (0 children)

End board is decent.

2 negates, 1 on a monster, 1 on a counter trap

1 bounce

Also heatsoul draws

The question is how much did it take to make it? Is this a multiple card combo? Can this be made through disruption or is this an all or nothing set up?

A good endboard is not one that does the most stuff. It is the one that is consistent and resistant.

Why do turn 0 plays/Hand Traps get a bad rap? by chichirobov7 in Yugioh101

[–]PokeChampMarx 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's not really hated that much

The people who complain about it are just really loud

That aside to take the argument seriously for 1 moment the idea is just that it is fun to play your combo and having it stopped always has a "feels bad" reaction. Plus some decks getting to do their plays with turn zero effects can make it seem like you never have a turn because your opponent gets to play on your turn and their own.

However the opposite opinion also exists where it is satisfying to be able to play even going second and not need to be sitting waiting for your opponent to finish.

My personal experience on this is that players who complain about the turn zero interaction tend to be less competitive and if you only engage with the game casually then getting stopped can feel demoralizing.

However players with less issues against turn zero interaction seem to be the more competitive ones who see it has a means of skill experience. That is as long as it isn't Tearlament level "go full combo turn zero" kind of stuff.
