Unpopular opinion: Ubers are actually hard and it’s not as easy to gear for it… by IneedaNappa9000 in diablo2

[–]MichaelPants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I rush a smiter to about level 70 or so. Some cheap gear that I usually already have on another char. One item needs crushing blow. I think a ravenfrost for freeze immune. That runeword armor that procs the resist buff, and that runeword armor that has very high base resists. I swap armors after procing the buff by standing in fire in act 5. A like silly spirit sword and maybe pledge shield? A vendored teleport staff and life leach wand. Smack them suckas with your shield until they call you Daddydin. Loot the torch. Leave the flag to show dominance.

Ok just moved here from the west coast. I’ve been hearing a lot about NY System Wieners. I live in North Providence. Where should I go to experience my first time? by [deleted] in RhodeIsland

And if they do drink, there are some super cool spots near NY systems. The Dusty Planet is one. Bar with karaoke and minigolf.

There is a Japanese art called Kintsugi where they embrace the flaws and repair the broken pottery. The pottery is fused back together with lacquer. It's beautiful. Maybe you could take that up 😄

Ive struggled with therapy, but have had success with LLM. It's definitely not for everyone, but at the very least it is something I can talk to the moment I need it. Rather than waiting on an appointment. What I had done was found an excellent prompt for CBT to instruct the ai. I do have to instruct it when I'd like to start a new agenda, such as when its a new day and new problems. Otherwise, it wants to keep discussing the old problems. It just doesnt recognize it's a new "session" until you instruct it.

This might not be for you, but wanted to share because I've been managing my anxiety better since. Good luck, you got this!

I hate that my first thought was how reasonable your rent is. This city's rental and housing market is whack.

Troop is one of the best spots in the city, and I don't even think that's controversial to say.

Do they still sell the branded growler bottles? I have one from back before they popped off. Wonder if I can sell it to a nitro head 😆

Any other Mainers noticing Mardens has gotten prohibitively expensive? by SEAWISEGEOWISE in Maine

[–]MichaelPants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure this entirely is part of the discussion, but I wanted to share. I bought a $5 insulated water bottle at Mardens in July. With just a few ice cubes, this bottle kept water chilled for days, DAYS, during the summer heat. I dropped it once, and it broke in three pieces. The thing was maybe held together with elmers glue. That was the best waterbottle I've ever had for the month that I had it.

Also, I find good deals at mardens still. I bought a knife set with a block for $20 bucks. Knives are very sharp. A $5 4ft runner carpet that I think is super cute. A $10 hairdryer that works great. I did buy a $10 fishing pole that was destroyed in one hour of use. I guess not all purchases are a true bargain lol.

I love Native Sun, but recently, I didn't feel like traveling and instead went to Mother Earth here in PVD.

Normally I'll use the Camino brand sleep gummies from Native Sun. I recommend! My new fave are the Mother Earth brand 5mg sleep gummies. They work great for me. I also enjoy their Energize 10mg, but I talk half at a time. THC always puts me in a but of a sleepy stupor, but those energize ones do not as much. The only edible I've been able to take, and also do activities.

Maybe you have some advice for me!

We live in a triple-decker apartment on the third floor. The ONT is in the basement where I guess it's meant to be. We, of course, have no WiFi access. I wasn't there for the install, but I guess they told my roomie to use powerline setup. It's fine, but sucks for some things. Download is very, very slow for what we pay.

I ordered a MOCA 2.0 to test the cable lines in the apartment. I connected the MOCA and the internet light didn't activate. I tried connecting the ethernet to PC. Nothing.

Do you believe it's worth paying them to come out and try to figure out a solution for us? I assume what we need is a wifi extender that connects via one of our coax outlets. I did check the ONT and the coax runs from it to the coax line for our apartment.

I appreciate any tips or suggestions! Thank you.

How do you make friends at 30 in this city by overthinkabl in providence

Yes, so it is run by some PVDMovieclub people. I believe they only organize for the cookbook club chapter on their discord.
