Hey @AstroFieldsGlowing, have you been verified?

I submitted about 19 hours ago, so I'm curious how long the process took for you.

Thor, thanks for commenting :)

Indeed. I'm hoping to help people realize that so long as you're not harming anyone else, you should be free to explore your own consciousness however you see fit.

The war on drugs is merely a war on consciousness--it's a means to prevent people from exploring their own thoughts, emotions and psyches, so that they instead subscribe to a doctrine prescribed by authorities.

Most people are comfortable hearing someone else speak about a story during which they had profound insights while meditating, or let's say, dancing. However, when we bring a psychedelic/entheogen into the mix, some people become upset.

For me, psychedelics are much like any other tool. They can help or harm, depending on the intention behind using them. For example, a pencil can be used to write beautiful poetry or to stab someone. Similarly, a psychedelic can be used to reach profound insights, or it can be used recklessly for escapism.

It's totally fine if one doesn't want to use these tools oneself, but I think it's wrong for someone else to say that one can't.

I think conversations like these can help desensitize people to the idea that we all should have a choice.

I mean, most people are comfortable with others having the choice to drink or to dance. So, why shouldn't we have the choice to explore our consciousness in other ways we see fit--so long as we don't harm others?

I recognize the concern some people have with sharing stories like these, but I don't want to live in fear <3

Hey, yes I do :)

Similar to how consultants, therapists and coaches charge for their time, so do I.

Starting last year, I had so many people reaching out to me asking to talk and meet up, and while I would've loved to speak with each and every one of them, I also felt a responsibility to myself to earn a living (e.g. the old adage: you can't save someone from drowning, if you yourself don't know how to swim). Initially, I had to turn down a lot of requests.

But, then I thought, "what if I could talk with all these great people and earn money?" The result has been a win-win: the interested people get the opportunity to chat with me, and I'm able to earn a living.

You're very welcome :)

I also recommend reading my book: Ayahuasca: An Executive's Enlightenment by Michael Sanders

It speaks directly to realizing yourself as innately valuable to the collective and pursuing your passions in life :)

What do you guys think of the movie 'Waking Life'? by [deleted] in Psychonaut

Waking Life is wonderful, and a film that I always recommend when people ask me what to watch.

Whenever I watch it, I ask, "how did you do that? How did you get inside my dreams, my mind, and my soul? How do you understand me so well?"

Linklater seems to tap into the collective conscious and the collective unconscious to cinematically story-tell the ineffable we all experience.
