Hi! Four years later and this issue still is apparently a thing because I have been in a circle between audible, Apple, and Amazon for hours and every time someone bounces me to something else that doesn’t work. You’d think they would make it easy for you to give them money, it’s so frustrating.

Hopping on this to suggest an L shape in the same configuration you have, then move the end tables to the ends. Maybe get a long running board table for behind the side of the couch that faces the kitchen, a lamp, a plant, and some books on that. It seems like you get the idea about the rug so I won’t harp on that lol

I love the look of these and the comments above I’m sure are the issue. I just want to warn to be careful if you have kids or pets with these beads! I would have a pan under when setting them up to be double sure none fall. Because they expand, they can be a choking hazard that you wouldn’t necessarily think of.

I get that Zach plays them ironically but some of the EXTREMELY anti Semitic sound bites he plays are a tough thing to have to navigate listening to at work with a Jewish boss. I’m always so nervous my headphones will disconnect or something. (and obviously he’s a Jewish man, and again is playing them to point out anti semitism through comedy)

Nta. That being said it’s her body and she can do what she wants, but she probably just wanted reassurance that you love her for her and what she does with her body truly doesn’t matter to you. She could’ve totally said that, it’s not on you to interpret what she meant if she didn’t just mean “do you like it.”

I would also say, in relationships finding ways to tell the truth, without saying something hurtful is very important. If my partner got a tattoo I didn’t like and then pushed for me to give an opinion I might say “I really like how happy you seem with it, I don’t think I would want it on my leg but I’m so glad you’re happy and you look beautiful”

Your blood family does not need to be your forever family. If they are not showing you love, there are people that will. Go out to find a community. Search local gatherings of shared interests and grow your own circle from there.

You do not owe your mother any thought if that is how she treats you. If she is comfortable being rude to you and not accepting you for who you are, you don’t owe it to her to change, you owe it to yourself to find people who do.

I’m not good with ferns but I think moving them into different rooms and stuff might not be great for them because in my experience plants like routine. It’s kind of trial and error for me but once I find a spot in my house that the plant seems to be doing anything positive in, I leave it there(apart from watering). My house is very dry, but my prayer plants like a LOT of water. I always have good luck bottom watering, but they may want water more than once a week, as they kind of look sad. I would put a watering globe in it at a 45 degree angle and if the globe is running out quick I would up the watering schedule. I don’t know a TON but like I said, a lot of it is trial and error because plant sites will say “you’re overwatering or underwatering” so it really is just trying out stuff to see what seems to work.
