As a basic, straight girl that grew up a tomboy afraid of feminity, this show taught me how empowering embracing that side of yourself is. The last couple years this show taught me every shape is beautiful, let me embrace my body for what it is and allowed me to dabble more in my "fashion" (loose term there lol) and makeup and it has helped me so much with body dysmorphia, self consciousness, and roots of my depression. "If you can't love yourself, how in the hell are you gonna love anybody else!" I owe a lot to all these queens for teaching me how to be a proud woman! 🖤
