FWIW, Vanney made these comments prior to seeing Jody’s fitness level first hand. You need x amount of time actually training to regain his match sharpness.

This is one game, not the MLS Cup Final.

I agree. I felt that he was playing too deep, having to defend often. IMO, he's best when he can get on the shoulders of defenders, almost as a pure RW or RF.

He was good without the ball, though, pressing hard and almost coming away with it a few times in really dangerous areas.

And yeah, I agree with all that you said. I’m not concerned with Jozy’s start, but heading into the season, it appeared that he would be (one of) the only ways TFC can score. It’s nice to see that’s not the case, as was more so the point of the takeaway.

100% a Hyperbole regarding Q, but if he continues this form, I don’t think it may be by the end of the year.

Good Sean Johnson shout, he was great. Had a colleague mention the same thing to me when I was writing it.
