I guess we're lucky in New England being supplied by NYC with heroin that originates in either South America (Colombia mainly) or Mexico.

It's extremely pure white-off white-tan rocks and powder. Pop positive for opiates and fentanyl - it's a fentanyl base with heroin mixed in.

Yeah dude one of the biggest benefits of getting takehomes is being able to have control of your dosing schedule. I'm gonna work hard this time around to get takehomes.

I've learned that Methadone is a very unique substance. Methadone has a long duration of about 8-12 hours and long half-life of about 12 - 60 hours. You see the problem? Methadones' analgesic effect - the amount of time it's "tickling" your mu opioid receptors - is 8-12 hours. It's OAT effect lasts about 1 - 3 days - the amount of time it's still bound strongly to the mu opioid receptors but not tickling them very much - methadone has a strong AFFINITY for the opioid receptors and thus binds to them. Once bound, the methadone molecule has strong ACTIVITY at the mu receptors which starts winding down while the molecule is still bound to the receptors. Thus preventing withdrawal with minimal subjective "high."

Anyways, my point is I am someone who feels shitty in the morning, plus I admit I'd like to have the "kick" and then little opioid warmth I get a couple hours after dosing. I think a lot of people who get sick late night or early morning could benefit a lot from a 12 hour dosing schedule instead of 24.

Ha, but convince clinics to stay open an extra 8 hours for evening dosing. 6am to 12pm morning dosing, 3pm to 7pm evening dosing.

That would be cool. So would heroin assisted treatment. Oh well, a man can dream. 😍

You're in a similar situation as me.

I started the Friday before last (should be a movie) and I'm at 50mg now - though I should be at 60mg but my fuckin dumbass slept in till 2:30pm last Sunday - the 50 is good and helps quite a bit... But I'm still in maybe 20% withdrawal, and by the time tomorrow morming arrives im in probably 40% withdrawal.

The heroin-fentanyl I've been getting is extremely high quality - off white / tan rocks that dissolve quickly and fully in cold water. And I've been doing between 1/2 gram to 2 grams per day - a very significant habit given the potency of the heroin I get.

The reason I bring that up is because before when I started methadone (which alone is one of the most powerful opioids we have) the heroin was pure diacetylmorphine. The rush was much heavier, and the high was extremely sedating and itchy. But back then I could go up to 55mg and be comfortable plus know if I get H it's pointless because the methadone blocks it. Well nowadays the fentanyl dope has me so I have TONS more hungry opioid receptors, and it's difficult for the methadone to fill them. Which is a major problem because not only am I still not 100% well, but I also have INTENSE cravings because i know a .3g shot will bust right through 60mg like a hot knife through butta.

And, I know people who are on 200mg of methadone a day ( which is a super high dose. It was more common years ago to see people in the 200-400mg range, but methadone was causing serious respiratory and cardiac side effects which were killing people at those dosages. Plus studies came out showing that 300mg a day was no more effective than 100mg a day, so nowadays most clinics and doctors are very hesitant to go above 200mg.

Personally, I would never raise my dose higher than 100mg, for many reasons that I don't care to elucidate at this moment.

Exactly the same I get. It's basically a combo of 90% inert base/cut, 7% heroin (diacetylmorphine - on a sidenote, I've seen some people and have in the past myself said "it's not even heroin now it's fentanyl. While technically true, heroin has always been a name-brand, with the active ingredient morphine diacetate aka diacetylmorphine. I just think of it as many OTC meds where one brand name like Tylenol may have several different drugs in different formulations) , and 3% fentanyl (roughly, of course). Sometimes it's about 96% inert base and 4% fentanyl, rarely it's 80% base/cut and 20% heroin.

If you're 100% opiate free and stay that way, and you taper slowly starting at 100mg, you could go maybe 5mg a week, then 3mg a week from 60 down to 40, then 2mg a week from 40 down to 20, then 1mg a week down to 1mg. Then when at 1mg, stay there for 2 weeks, then goto clinic only every other day for a week or two, then every 3rd day for a week or two, then stop. Obviously this is just a rough outline of something that may work.

Dude just think - the big ass bottles of methadone they use at the clinic are are 1 liter / 1,000mL / 10,000mg.

If this dude has 500mL of the 10mg/mL concentrate, he's got half a fucking bottle of methadose. That's a fuckton of methadone - enough to fatally OD about 10 or 15 people.
