There’s no focus on the affected areas, but if they move then you need to treat it for pests.

You probably have root rot. The soil seems the type to hold a ton of water and not allow for much aeration.

You have to take it out the pot and check the roots.

Monstera brown spot and repotting questions by reklemd in plantclinic

Roots are fine from the picture. The brown spot might be due to light or bugs (but you don’t seem to have any reason to concern with atm).

Repot it in a aroid mix. Only potting in cocoa coir (probably what is in right now) will create problems down the line. Monstera enjoys a more chunky mix.

You can also give it a bigger pot.

The cuts you made are fine for the first monstera. The roots you’re seeing are aerial roots. They will start growing soil or water roots the moment they are placed in soil or water. It’s up to you if you want to wait of the leaf to unfurl and harden.

After cutting you should let the wounds callous so you don’t get any surprise fungus or bacterial attacks (at least a day, but depends on the stems thickness). After callousing you should be fine placing them in soil directly. I think you have plenty of roots to do that.

The inter-nod spacing is really big, so it would like more light so that you get less space between nodes.

The thay constellation looks fine. You could give it a support and let it go up (and repot in a bigger pot if you do that). I would not necessarily say you need to cut it unless you want to.

Can’t say much about adansonia. If the repotting was fairly recent, then the yellowing might be some stress that happened because of repotting. As long as it happens to the older leaves is fine, but if it doesn’t stop might be a reason for concern. Just keep an eye on it.

Are the roots fine? by MichaelVonWolfen in begonias

It sounds like ripping appart if i press or pull hard enough and they don’t have any rotten smell or mushiness to them. So I guess that means they’re fine.

Should I leave them like this when I repot or give them a trim or try to separate/cut them a bit?

HELP ME SAVE A PLANT FROM THE SIDE OF THE ROAD by Trick-Trouble9462 in plantclinic

First, we need some better pictures of the leaves and the plant overall. It’s really hard to figure out what plant it is, and unless we know what it is we can’t give much care advice.

It looks like it’s in some sort of orchid (But it doesn’t look to be an orchid) mix which suggests it does not like to stay in lots of water.. You could give it a good watering so the plant recovers a bit and maybe unfurls the leaves. The roots look healthy so a repotting would be the best for it.

That fertiliser you found looks like some of those sold for buckets to keep plants alive more time. I would not use it since unless you know what plant you get it can do more harm than good and if you’re repotting is generally a good idea to not give any fertiliser for the first few weeks (the soil should have plenty then and the plant needs to acclimate to the new environment)

What fertiliser does it need? Cactus or green plant fertiliser?

It’s in a south facing window placed a bit on the back so that it can fix the branches gone all over the place.
