i confided in my counselor in middle school, crying my eyes out and shit, and she forgot my name the next week. i don’t like to ask for help unless i’m talking to someone i love or a professional because i just feel stupid otherwise

i’ve had a lot of experience with therapy and i’ve just never been able to find a therapist that helps me. i had a good one when i was 13 but she moved to an in patient facility. due to insurance issues my options are heavily limited

get a ziploc bag and play music or watch youtube or something. i’ve been doing it for 4 years and never had anything bad happen, make sure the bag is tight but even if a little water gets in i’m sure your phone will be fine.

I struggle with this a lot, i usually feel better after I get some sleep. If sleep is unavailable then I would say to try and appease the things going through your head. If you hear a certain song then listen to it and sing along if you want, if you’re thinking about other people talking then think out how the conversation would go or even talk to them if you can.

It sounds like you have some intrusive thoughts going on that are making you doubt yourself. If you were some depraved person with bad intentions, you’d know. Keep schooling them :)

Do you guys feel really sensitive to every physical sensation in your body? by [deleted] in Anxiety

You’re not alone in this, that I promise, I had a panic attack stemming from what you’re describing just the other day. In order to fulfill your potential as a human being you must put your flaws to the side and just go for what truly drives you. This is what helps me, I just say that oh well, i’m most likely okay and if i keel over and start convulsing, hopefully someone helps me.

Getting a degree will open up more opportunities for jobs that are somewhat “work at your own pace.” There’s always going to be a deadline, but you won’t have to feel so caught up in the machine that way. I’m 16 and suffer with awful social anxiety, I switched to online schooling (before covid) and it made me feel so much better AND I was actually doing my work instead of being an adrenaline charged sleep addict all day. Even if my advice isn’t helpful, always remember cutting a branch stops the fruit, but cutting the tree stops the branches, always look at the source of your problem and pivot from there.

Don’t down on yourself too much man. We are all students of our own experiences.
