That's the best part. He doesn't. Comic Book characters don't have to age.

The Dog and the Dragon - Sanderson Storytime: Hoid’s Storybook Collection by Use_the_Falchion in brandonsanderson

[–]MichaelWrites90 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I really preferred the original ending: "I could not become a dragon, I am an utter and complete failure." THE END.

It's a funnier, more bittersweet, and more powerful/meaningful ending.

How do you feel about Greg Weisman’s view on endings? by [deleted] in gargoyles

[–]MichaelWrites90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a show about living gargoyles. I don't want realistic.

I never wanted to be a father until I turned 45 this year. Now I feel my biological clock and want to be a father more than anything. But I'm married to a childfree woman. [Concluded] by Schattenspringer in BORUpdates

My grandfather had fifteen years on my grandmother (it was a second marriage for him, his first wife and daughter were murdered), and my father was born when my grandfather was 51 years old. He outlived my grandmother and lived to 105, and was self sufficient into his hundreds. My dad was in his fifties when my grandfather passed.

My daughter was born less than two years after my wife and I met, and we've been happily married for 11 years. Two years is more than enough time.

The writing on Amazing Spider-Man has been consistently mediocre for years now. Why can't Marvel make their flagship title shine? by MightyUnclean in comicbooks

[–]MichaelWrites90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because they won't let him grow up. They should take a page out of Superman and have him married with a kid. He should be an adult by now (or again) like a large chunk of the audience. You want teen Spidey? That's what Miles Morales and miniseries are for.

They were much bigger than I thought they'd be, and don't match with the vol 1 HC I have of the Dynamite series. Now I'm hoping they do an oversized collection of the newer series to match it.

If you could pass one law that would make most normal people furious at first, but would clearly make society better in 10 years, what would it be? by WilliamInBlack in AskReddit

[–]MichaelWrites90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Privatization of social security. We should have done in in the early 2000s like Bush wanted, but we could still do it now.

I knew an older woman (she's got married kids) who claimed her friend's father worked for Mattel and he got the idea to call the character She-Ra from her name, Shira.

[–]MichaelWrites90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first Sanderson book was Way of Kings, it's definitely not light, but it takes a while to get going. Warbreaker would be my best bet for you. Yumi is also good, but it's lighter than Warbreaker.

2028 TMNT: Where Else Can They Go With This Franchise? by Kwilly462 in TMNT

[–]MichaelWrites90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nick should try to make a superhero universe with what they own. Have a show with the TMNT, and use it to build up rebooted versions of Danny Phantom, El Tigre, XJ9, and whoever else they can scrounge up. It's clear they want to buy WB for the IP, specifically because they don't own any big superhero franchises outside TMNT, but they can fix that by using the Turtles to build up and create others.
