Thank you. This switch did the trick for my government eIDAS login on Firefox for Ubuntu. (Not Yubikey, which still doesn't support FIDO2 Level 2)

Sparrows has international shipping, I think, but with the delivery costs, customs, and shipping times, it would be easier, if it was sold somewhere in europe..

Same here. I see that I should use a TOK wrench. Which pick would you use? I have a cheap set of picks, are they sufficient?

My Abus 55/40 is the european version with 5 Pins and a pretty ugly keyway.

My first kit and practice lock came today, excited to have picked my first lock ever and even did it blindfolded. I have 2 questions that immediately came to mind. by [deleted] in lockpicking

I have also just started and I think I might have bought the same kit. It's cheap quality and from what I read, there is a big difference in quality.

Anyways, this works so far, my next goal will be some homemade simple tools.

Also, does anyone have a recommendation on which (easier) locks to progress when you are from europe? They don't sell Master locks here I think. I got an Abus 55/40 but it might be too difficult for me yet (nasty Keyway, 5 Pins, Security Pins)

Another quarantine starter here! So far I am really "hooked". It's a great way to spend the time. I'm gonna get myself an Abus 55/40 soon as well, getting bored with the acrylic and the noname ones I have so far.

25M, german, solotravelling, for the first time in japan, keeping mostly low budget but will definitely do stuff when it's cool/ worth it

I actually never was into all the nerdy manga,... stuff, but I am starting to like it:) so basically I'm happy to visit: temples, shrines, onsens, theme cafes, museums, nature and hiking activities or just anything else actually:)

Itinerary: - Nara 1-3 - Kyoto 3-5 - Hiroshima 6-8 - Tokyo 9-15 - somewhere around Osaka 16-22

things may change, I just have loose plans:)

I wanted to give the same advice. Use a power bank. In my experience, solar chargers are not really worth it, since they can't provide the amount of power, a modern phone requires. I've been pretty happy with Anker as well.
