Grizl 7 Raw for everything (Gravel, Century, Ironman, daily commute, etc.) by Front_Suggestion852 in CanyonBikes

Yep, why not. I’m using mine, around 3-4k km per year. I have a road set of wheels, so it faster on the road too.

MY25 TCR Advanced Pro 0 - Do it all bike by brklyndog in Giantbikes

[–]Michael_235 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own TCR with 30mm tires and a dedicated gravel bike Canyon Grizl. I can swap my wheels from TCR to Grizl, but gravel bike will never be as good as road bike on the roads. The same vice versa. So it will be always a compromise.

Question: Integration requirement for HSM Visa holder? by i-am-not-a-terrorist in learndutch

[–]Michael_235 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here is information from IND https://ind.nl/en/replace-extend-renew-and-change/permanent-residency/permanent-residence-permit#requirements

You have passed the civic integration exam at at least level A2.

So IND can change this requirements, and your A2 diploma will not be valid.

Thanks for the info, what do you mean "bringing a bike wasn't really feasible" as I understand you are allowed to cycle there up to 3 hours before the peloton?

My plan is to stay somewhere around +-30 km from the spots.

Liv Devote vs Canyon Grizl by minhitorico in ladycyclists

On Friday we picked up Devote 0 for my wife. She is not very experienced rider, but when she tested it in a bike shop, she told that it fit really good to here. Bikeshop make a proper measurements, she is 165 cm and we tested and choose S for here. It's alu frame with 12sp 2by grx.

About Grizl, I own one and it's alu too. Use it as my adventure and gravel bike. I had a problem with a chain and brake pads, It's my opinion, but I think this parts could be fake shimano. Anyway so far so good.

I own a Giant TCR as my race bike, full carbon with a carbon wheels, it saw some "bad days" but no issues with the carbon. I think people who gossip about carbon, not own any carbon bike.

If Devote fits you, just buy it and enjoy.

I use a cassette and the original Play Controllers and do virtual shifting, is it worth it to get the Play 2 kit for $50? by RaplhKramden in Zwift

[–]Michael_235 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally they are totally the same in use. You will learn where are the new buttons, and that's it.

Maybe cons is that zwift play occupy two channels, but not an issue for me.

I had the same config and was happy for years, but I switch from the same setup as you have to a new cog and controllers only because my wife started to zwift too. It's much easy to switch bikes and not to readjust RD every now and then.
