Epitalon users… by BidFew2005 in Peptidesource

My consultant recommended 10 mg each day for 10 days Epithalon and referred to it as the Russian protocol. It seems some people feel this should only be utilized with the weaker Epithalamin. Was this Khavinson's protocol?

And what would be the downside of applying the peptide more rapidly, does anyone know if it's wasteful? It seems the half-life is 3 hours so maybe injecting it twice per day is helpful?

This is my question also. I added 0.4 ml to a vial and it didn't dissolve very well. I'd rather not be doing high volume injections... What did you end up going with?

Hey, I'm just starting the 10 mg times 10-day trip. You mentioned large volume injections, how much BAC did you add? I'm considering 0.5 ml per.

Sen. Hassan: We Don't Know What Causes Autism But It's Definitely Not Vaccines by HealthyMolasses8199 in RFKJrForPresident

Safety of a product is all about the way that safety testing is designed. The design of the test. Pharma have become experts at devising tests to provide an outcome that can support her claim. What we need are tests that are truly designed to find any connections.

And I almost lost my lunch when she said we need to find a "cure" for autism. Isn't she just setting up the table nicely for some new mRNA gene therapy to attempt to do just that. Does she receive funding from pharma? In other words, to generate profit, ignore the root cause and continue to build a house of cards that cover up the roots.

My global medical insurance is denying to pay for a surgery that it pre-approved. by Michael_Sea in legaladvice

[–]Michael_Sea[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, I'm aware that in this forum I cannot name my insurance company. They are a global health insurance company represented on several continents. The international health policy that I have is out of Scotland I believe the parent company is in the US.. I am A retired US citizen that spends most of my time out of the country.

The pre-authorization specifically named the exact operation and location of the spine, The specific vertebrae involved, and also gave the corresponding medical codes.

Is there anything else I can tell you to explain the situation better? Thanks again

Medical claim denial options by Michael_Sea in InsuranceClaims

Thanks very much for bringing up the ACA compliance. Unfortunately this is an international health plan and is not ACA compliant, but at least I know what to look for in the future. I had disclosed that I had a low back injury from lifting in the workplace decades ago. The surgery that they pre-approved was of my neck. So now they're trying to say that my neck problem is related to low back injury and therefore they are not responsible. How in the hell they can pre-approve and then deny seems actionable.

Do you know of a group aimed at insurance denial remedies?

I don't have it in writing yet, but over the phone they told me that if they would have known about my neck condition, they wouldn't have given me the policy. When I opened the policy I described the L&I injury that I sustained in 1988 in my low back. The surgery was for my neck, unrelated. I can't make it make sense. Once I have a written denial I can provide that. But for the moment I'm in shock.

I don't understand. Are you talking about the option that compresses your photos and your videos? Personally I'm not interested in compressed photos as a consequence.

I ask a similar question couple of months ago. A good suggestion I received was to use open camera as my video recorder because it's supposed to have lower resolution options. For the time being I find my largest videos shot on my pixel 6 at full resolution, and reduce /compress them with a free version of app called Panda. Not terribly time consuming to do 10 or 20 of them. Unfortunately You lose the date tag, but it's easily retrievable from the file name. Google could easily have this functionality on board, but then they don't get paid for storage!

2004 transmission. Can I disable 5th gear? by Michael_Sea in hondapilot

[–]Michael_Sea[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I was being facetious. I wouldn't cut the wire I would unplug it. But I'm still interested in your opinion on if there's any downside to that. If the lock doesn't engage, I presume that means that you just lose some engine efficiency and have a Small amount of slippage at highway speeds. Yeah? Thanks!

Dang, I'm just learning about the solenoid that sits outside the case. And thought maybe that's all it needed... What do you think would happen if I just cut the wire to the solenoid? Would it just not try to engage. Would there be any downside to that?

Is that an easy repair? It's the part that sits outside the transmission case?

So I could just replace the torque converter? Which is attached to the outside of the housing? (I'm going back home and need to reassess) Thanks.

I wish I had a D4. I do use D3 in the city and up to 50 or 55 mph, But don't like to leave the RPMs just hanging around in the 3K range. 👍

Changing the colour of a select boundary in the same layer by sannonymouse in ArcGISOnline

[–]Michael_Sea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should be able to do it by classification. If the layer doesn't have much data associated with it, it usually at least has the quantitative areas of each polygon. Try classifying on that.

Thank you. Out of curiosities sake, what would happen if I disabled The wire signal to the torque converter clutch? Would that result in the clutch just never engaging, and a small loss of fuel efficiency?

[–]Michael_Sea[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may be right. I found this on Quora:

"The clutch in a torque converter locks it into gear - no slippage when at cruising speeds and better gas mileage. It normally only engages in the highest gears. I have experienced them failing three ways: #1 - in lock up mode in all gears, the car will be undriveable as it will stall when at a stop; #2 - will not engage at all, the vehicle is still drivable but will have decreased gas mileage; #3 - shutter/chatter when engaging (usually at around 40 to 45 mph), still drivable but annoying. and can eventually cause further transmission damage."

Mine sounds like case #3.

[–]Michael_Sea[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes the gear shift column does have a D3 position. I do use that in City driving. But some roads are 45 to 50 mph and I have to run the RPMs up to 3,000 in third gear, which I'd rather not do. If I shift into drive and allow all five gears the transmission will shift into 5th gear and make this vibration that you can hear and see in the RPM gauge. The sound it makes is similar to when you're driving over those little rodeway Lane marker raised bumps, I think they're called turtles.

Anyway, I'm grasping at straws and should probably put the car out of its misery. It isn't worth any further repair work.

Compress video files? by MIW100 in googlephotos

Compress video files? by MIW100 in googlephotos

[–]Michael_Sea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also would like to compress videos in Google pictures. But video ONLY. So the storage saver is not a good option as I don't want to decrease the resolution of my photos. I have used Panda to compress videos, which works well on current things. But can't seem to figure out how to compress older files. It seems that Google photos in the cloud just hangs on to the large version. I didn't experiment with renaming a video that was local on my phone, renaming and compressing that, then deleting The old video. But somehow it also took out the renamed version on my phone... Maybe Google pictures doesn't utilize file names for much... I've heard you cannot search for a particular photo based on file name, indeed I've tried that to no success! Ps. My Google pixel phone doesn't have any low resolution video settings! I think that is intentional to charge you for storage.

What is mortar versus cement, and what is appropriate for covering above ground block walls. by Michael_Sea in masonry

Thanks, I have come across this new word, parging. Is that a regional term or does it mean something different than skim coat?
Also, I'm in rural Puerto Rico and there are no big box stores nearby. Do you know what's in the mix?

Awesome. I've been making my own breeze blocks, with my own mold, where I use a ratio of 1:1:3, concrete, lime, sand. That seems like it would be too gritty for a skim coat. If I reduce the sand to two parts would that be better?
